I enjoyed this yesterday as it was a wonderful addition to my aromatic aura. This fragrance is known as floral - oriental, but it wasn't that for me as it felt like a Citrusy, Spicy, Vanilla wear and because of the last note, it was one I enjoyed for a 59 degree evening here in Silicon Valley.
Sprayed on at 7:25 am, that first spray was the citrusy note of Bergamot. Layered with Neroli Summer from Eternal Perfume Oils, the two together had me feeling the Summer vibe. A little later, the warm lunch period gave me floral notes; I got Jasmine and some rose. A little surprising at first, but after a while I found the two paired together a great combination. Again, a surprise that was welcomed.
By 8:00 pm, I walked into my house, got into comfy clothes and could pick up notes Oud and Vanilla coming through with the florals. It was one of those moments of affirmation we all express after a day of wearing our fragrance choice. Longevity and sillage were great, more so the longevity because by 10 pm, I was in bed could pick up the fragrance on my bare shoulder. as I brought my blanket up to my chest.
I wouldn't wear this everyday. For me, it's like a day event, or even an early evening wear. It's for sure an office safe fragrance, but the notes mentioned speak of a special wear, much like it's sister Sublime- a sweet offering in the Bade'e Al Oud line. Both seem like elegant wears, like for a day wedding or a 4 pm afternoon date. Young club goers may enjoy this if they want to chill at the table while their bros sling that CK One or something youthful.
For you consideration, Bade'e Al Oud Amethyst buy Lataffa. As usual, your sillage may vary- fragrance discretion is advised.
