Day 2 on the boat

We have an incredible view out the aft of the boat. It's a little bouncy, but the stabilizers seem to be working well so far. Thank god for Scopalamine. Leaving the harbor was ridiculously pretty, and I'm excited for the adventure that lays ahead.

The duty free on the ship isn't the best, but they do have a few things I was looking for on my wishlist. Hugo Boss The Scent Magnetic, Bvlgari Man in Black, Bvlgari Tygar. But the prices aren't really that great. USA pricing is well below, and even with tax and shipping it's still less expensive to buy from a discounter. So I'm resisting the impulse buy. Plus it's only Day 2.

SOTD: Andrea Maack Flux. It's a very woody, fruity, smokey fragrance with a bit of a green note that makes it perfect for the transitional weather. Performance is great - I've been wearing it all day and still catching whiff of myself. The sillage, though, is fairly intimate. People have to get up close to really smell you, and I'm not all about that lifestyle right now.

EDIT - I mean to add how much this scent reminds me of an early ex. She loved eucalyptus and blueberry, and the opening very much brings that smell back into my memory. I really liked her and would have married her probably, but life doesn't always work that way.

Anyway, I'm havign a good trip so far, and excited to see what tomorrow brings.
