Boss Bottled Absolu

I purchased a sample quite some time ago. I tried it when I first got it and I was very impressed. Months later, I have it a full wear (today).

I see how it can be compared to red tobacco and Carlisle because it's in that space. However, it smells like a designer take on both. Definitely more rounded and mass appealing, but for me, it doesn't have the depth or complexity of Carlisle.

Doing the side by side, it seems to me like Carlisle is much darker and mysterious and the dry down on the Absolu starts to smell a bit more like Layton.

Still a lovely fragrance, but do any of you get this Layton dry down too?
