This is my opinion and not going to bother you with what Fragrantica’s web site has about this scent.
The first time a saw the bottle design from this house I could not get it out of my mind, so every time I went to this luxury department store here in Mexico City, I tried a different perfume, I really loved the design on some of the bottles.
This one was a blind buy after reading so much about it as the store stopped selling the brand.
The first time I sprayed this perfume, it reminded me of things that happened when I was a child, I can’t pinpoint exactly if the smell had to do something with my dad or my grandfather. It felt like stepping into sunlight after a rainy day. The opening of light lemon mixed with rose. Citrus tinged and wild, like petals soaked in sunlight and squeezed with a twist of zest.
Hours later, the oud arrived grounding everything as if the rose had bloomed in a cedarwood chest with some lemon around it.
I couldn’t stop catching whiffs of it this strange, beautiful contrast of bright and deep. It made me get a memory and a mystery, as I can’t exactly where or what it brings.
