Aether extrait and fig me up

I had clients at the gym all day today and it was still crisp out. Aether is a fragrance inspired by PDM Greenley. It's very close. The opening is a bit synthetic as you would expect, but after a few minutes, the only differences I noticed are that the apple isn't quite as prominent as the cedar on a close skin sniff. But it the air, it's 90%+ the same. Lovely spring fragrance in my opinion.

Now I'm home and showered and I'm testing out a sample of fig me up by Mancera. Dry green fig, with rhubarb and the sweetness coming from the plum. Pretty unisex, but leans slightly feminine. I like the scent a lot on skin although it smells much more synthetic on paper.

Opening is nice. Waiting to see how the dry down goes.

I think it may be fine as a standalone, but could possibly have some good layering possibilities. I'll let you know as I try some.
