Who was that?

My daughters have been out with me when we meet people in shops and I can stop and have a chat with someone who will give me a lot of information about themselves. Afterwards when we walk away my girls might ask “how do you know that person” and most times I say “I have never met them before”. They find it amazing that people will stop and chat and my family find it funny that I can get so much information about people I don’t know, than anyone else. For instance, if my husband goes out and comes back home, I will ask about what happened and did he ask about xxxxx and he always says he never asked and didn’t think of asking.

My family say, give Linda 10 minutes with someone and she will find out their kids names, what they do, if they have animals etc. etc.

I don’t think I ask probing questions or why people talk to me. Maybe I attract strangers who feel the need to talk. My girls say I attract weird people.

Does anyone else have this, could it be the adhd?
