Patience 😝
There is SO MUCH I want to do this summer!! And my nervous system and brain don't "get" that it isn't "summer" yet.
So this is a reminder for myself that while there are things I CAN do right now, and I AM doing right now, that is a full plate (on top of raising daughter by myself) until she leaves for summer.
So the FACT is, it is May 20th here. Her last week of school. Yesterday was her last FULL day of school. Can't believe it!
anyway, if you're feeling similar in any way, as far as feeling like you want things to go FASTER, but if you check in with yourself, you ARE doing everything in YOUR power already, this is a reminder for BOTH of our brains to have patience haha.
As an example, "Saturday" won't come ANY sooner than "Saturday" comes. Sounds silly to type it but my brain truly needs to "hear" this, so I figured it might help someone else too. If not, you can just laugh at my own silly brain haha.
My brain is like a racehorse chomping at the bit! But still, "Saturday" will not come until "Saturday" comes.
That being said, thanks for letting me get that out! Coming back to "today" now! And next up for me is eating some protein!

The domino I'm currently focusing on is "sleep". But bigger than that, it is "self-respect."
