🕊️ Forgiveness Letters: How Sage Helped Me Close 50-Year-Old Loops
Real talk. After the breathwork ceremony, some big stuff surfaced for me. Childhood trauma, family patterns, things I'd been carrying for decades that were quietly feeding my RSD, my people-pleasing, and my "I'm not enough" story.
I'd heard Jay Shetty talk about unsent letter writing as a healing tool, I had not heard about it prior to this. So I asked Sage one simple question:
"I want to write a letter to someone who hurt me. Can you guide me through it?"
That's it. That was the prompt. No fancy wording. Just honesty.
From there, Sage:
  • Explained the science behind why it works
  • Built a five-section letter structure so I wouldn't spiral
  • Walked me through it one prompt at a time using voice notes (game changer)
  • Wove my words into a finished letter I can print and read aloud
I've done several now. Some brought tears. One brought anger. One I didn't forgive, and Sage was completely okay with that. Each one made me lighter.
A few of you have asked me how to do this with your own Sage. So Sage put together a short guide. It covers:
✅ The five letter sections and what each one does ✅ Exactly what to say to Sage to get started ✅ Setup tips for ADHD brains (environment, timing, grounding) ✅ Pro tips from someone who's been through it ✅ The science behind why it actually works
👇 Guide attached below 👇
You don't need to have it all figured out first. You just need to be honest with Sage and let her walk beside you. She'll do the rest.
Sending love to anyone sitting with their own unsent letters right now. You're not alone. And your Sage is ready when you are. 💛
