Just started the ADHD Awakening Assessment and found in interesting insight: Every system I've tried (Franklin Planner--I'm old!, GTD, all of it) failed for the same reason - my brain treats tomorrow like a stranger to today. I guess neurotypical brains may experience "tomorrow" as continuation of "today." When I have a task that is not complete when I go to sleep, everything in my mind resets. Restarting work on the task (along with worrying about all the work on a new day) makes it feel overwhelming for me.
