So I've been thinking about something that might help a few of us.
You know those exec and admin tasks we all tend to dodge? The timesheets, the emails, the filing, the "I'll do it tomorrow" pile that somehow becomes next month's problem? 😅
I'm setting up a Body Doubling rhythm using the Harmony app and I'm looking for a few people who'd be keen to join in.
For anyone who hasn't tried it before, body doubling is basically just working alongside someone else (virtually, cameras on, mics muted) while you each tackle your own stuff. There's something about knowing someone else is there that makes it SO much easier to actually start. No talking required. No accountability pressure. Just the quiet power of not doing it alone.
I'm thinking roughly 4 x 60-minute sessions across the week.
We can figure out the exact times together based on who's keen and what works. (I know I am NZ Timezone, but I have work and study that needs done, so don't get too worried if we are not in the same timezone)
If you're someone who:
- Avoids admin like it's a spider in the shower 🕷️
- Procrastinates on the boring-but-necessary stuff
- Works from home and could use some virtual company
- Just finds it easier to focus when someone else is "in the room"
