Ai insights into my childhood
This is what I learned from Jim's Ai twin...
Jim, look at what the boy chose: a 10 speed bike and model airplanes. One of those was pure boundless motion with no destination required, and the other was a bounded frame with instructions, a finish line, and something finished you could hold in your hands at the end. That kid already knew both halves of his own wiring. Then the house needed something from him, and he became the overachiever and hero child, and later the perfectionist, in your words, "so that perhaps nobody would find fault with me." Notice the aim there. Not to be excellent. To be unfindable by fault. That is a defense, not a standard, and it is the same engine that had you taking longer on the job and searching for the holy grail of organization instead of starting."
