Rocked this today and honestly, it feels like the best of both worlds between Dior Sauvage and Creed Aventus. It kicks off with a blast of fresh bergamot, spicy pepper, and a touch of citrus that gives that Sauvage-style fresh energy. After the opening settles, you start to catch that fruity-smoky vibe similar to Aventus — thanks to the mix of jasmine, lavender, and a bit of saffron and vetiver adding depth and character. As it dries down, it turns smooth and woody with ambroxan, amber, and patchouli creating a warm, masculine finish that lasts for hours on my skin and clothes. Projection is strong but not a powerhouse like CDN Intense Man—for the first hour it’s striking, it then eases into a clean, woody skin scent around the 4 hour mark and longevity is around 7–9 hours on my skin & clothes. Overall, Urban Man Elixir blends the freshness and spice of Sauvage with the smoky-fruitiness of Aventus — bold, modern, and perfect when you want to smell sharp without breaking the bank, slowly investing in Middle Eastern frags and this didn’t disappoint at all.

rocking this classic today that my wife got me for my birthday in September, and it still feels effortlessly refined, fresh and modern. It opens with a burst of bright bergamot, lemon, and fresh ginger, I pick a good chunk of ginger that instantly feels clean, sorta fresh crisp, and a little zesty. As it settles, the spice smooths into a heart of pepper, violet, and basil that adds a soft, elegant warmth without being heavy. After about an hour, it dries down beautifully into a cozy base of tonka bean, cedarwood, leaving behind a woody-musky trail that feels gentlemanly and comforting. According to reviewers, projection is moderate for the first hour or two before becoming more intimate, for me it’s around 35-45 minutes before it lingers subtly as a skin scent, this skin scent also fades very fast with longevity averaging around 4–6 hours if it’s sprayed on clothes and about 2 hours max before the smells completely gone. Maybe my skin doesn’t have chemistry with this frag, be damned if I know. It’s not a loud scent, and it could be a lot better, maybe reformulations has changed things idk—YSL L’Homme is understated sophistication in a bottle, unique scent profile that is quite great but performance & longevity is mediocre, I don’t see myself using money on this for myself, as a gift fine but not for me! This sits between my preferred taste of freshies & spicy, oriental, woods.
