How many of you have a family member that also trains? What advice do you have for getting our loved ones to join us? What excuses do you most often hear for not training?
I do my best to teach my daughters; however, if I don’t make it a game/fun focused and lighthearted/playful they are not about it. I feel even if they get a little knowledge it is great. Bare minimum at least they have a fun time working out with mom. 😁 🤷🏼♀️
A lone figure in all black with a hood approaches you in a dark alley. He stops 5 feet in front of you. You are unarmed and cornered. Which of these weapons feels the least dangerous to you? Against which weapons would you rather defend yourself.
Thanks for the dose of anxiety. 🤦🏼♀️ Avoid the situation all together.🙅🏼♀️ I would avoid being in a dark alley alone. Pay for valet and walk with a group of people you know. As a woman I think a lot before I go out at night especially to a place I don’t know. I know you all have heard this but it is sadly part of being a woman. Questions I think of: Where is the event? Where is the parking? Is there valet? Who will be there? Do I trust them? Who is going with me? Do I trust them? Will others be drinking/drugs? Added awareness if so and I stay sober. It sounds paranoid, however I’m sure all women make these mental calculations either consciously or unconsciously. 🤷🏼♀️
You are out with your family and a drunk guy starts acting aggressive and yelling profanity at you. You keep a safe distance with your hands in good position trying to defuse and suddenly your wife steps in between you and the aggressor to try to defuse the situation.
Here is a short segment of some breath work that Professor James walked Premium Members through. My goal is to do the breath of 🔥 everyday. Eventually I would like to build up to 3 sets but my goal to start is only a single one minute round. I'm going to comment done every day after I finish. Please comment done after you finish your breath work.
