The Wisdom of Gentle Motion
About thirteen months ago, after breaking my back, I found myself searching for something that might help me rebuild strength without punishing my body. That search led me to Drew's eclectic, ancient and inspiring movement sessions. What struck me immediately was how modest the exercises looked— small circles of the arms, soft bends, slow breaths. Yet within those quiet gestures, something remarkable began to happen. My body started remembering itself. Qi Gong works in whispers rather than shouts— subtlety. Instead of forcing the body to perform, it invites the body to participate. As we move slowly and breathe more consciously, something begins to circulate again— what the Chinese call qi (pronounced ‘chee'), the life energy that animates every organ, muscle, and thought. Qi (also spelled chi) feels a little like when you open the windows of a house after a long winter. Fresh air begins to move through every room. Drew's small daily sessions have re-introduced balance to my life— physically, mentally, and even spiritually. Joints are looser, posture has improved, my mind calmer, and a quiet inner-confidence has returned. Nothing dramatic, nothing flashy— just the kind of steady improvement that accumulates day by day. The body doesn’t need to be conquered— it needs to be listened to. Each morning with Drew and you, I happily give my body the profound gifts of renewed circulation, breathing, and mindful movement. These small mindful movements carry great wisdom. And for me, what began as recovery has become a daily ritual of health, gratitude, and renewal.

Thank you so much for sharing this. It is so inspiring for me. I started to do the same today and it worked very well for me.
I’m halfway back
It’s a long time I was here daily. The reason is, last Holy Evening early in the morning I had a bad accident. I broke four of my cervical vertebrae and several face bones. From now on I am allowed to move my body (with care and attention) I will try to do what I can. Would you recommend that I do sessions from earlier, or follow you now and just do what I can? I’m glad that I am still alive and I am happy for the sunshine and the springtime and for all goodness in my life I hug you all and wish you a wonderful weekend

@Kris Lmehlow Dear Kris, Thank you for your warmhearted comment. Yes, it seems I have a wonderful, very talented Guardian Angel. I take the opportunity of this accident to learn to take more care of myself and learn to hear of my body and my inner self. I am grateful and happy about your words and wish you a wonderful Sunday Hugs Uli

Day 19, Gentle Qigong Flow
Today we move through very gentle, simple Qigong-inspired movements. A quiet moment to appreciate the beauty around us and the power of simple daily movement.

Done. It was a great session. I could do the exercises ( but slow and carefully) except the frustration releasing one. Thank you 🙏
March 2026: Exercise and Eclipse-time
You don’t have to believe the sky affects you to notice that certain seasons invite reflection, action, or rest. Astrology provides a poetic weather report of the times, and can highlight possibilities— but your choices, character, and daily habits shape your path. Free will rules. To astrologers, March's Full moon eclipse carries with it a distinct clarifying energy. Not loud. Not chaotic. As if a spotlight quietly sweeps across your life and whispers: This matters. This doesn’t. So, March is less about drama and more about discernment. Editing, not shouting. An eclipse intensifies what’s already out of balance, and asks us to see it more clearly. Think of it as cosmic highlighter pen-energy. On a personal level, March's lunation invites us to clean up what we’ve been clenching our teeth tolerating— habits, worries, cluttered schedules, anxious thought loops. This is a powerful month for refining routines, tending to health, and for choosing usefulness over useless fretting. Small, practical improvements ripple outward. Bless your corner of the world. Sweep the floor. Call a friend. Feed the cat. Move your body. On the world stage, eclipses often coincide with turning points— exposures, explosions, negotiations, corrections. When headlines hint at conflict or looming war, the eclipse reminds us that real strength is logistical, humanitarian, and service-oriented. The same energy that can mobilize armies can also mobilize aid, medical response, and sober problem-solving. Eclipse light reveals what needs fixing. The antidote? Stay grounded. Do what you can reach. This month, instead of trying to fix the whole world, begin with what’s at your fingertips. Tidy a drawer. Strengthen a knee. Drink more water. Buy a better computer. Go to bed earlier. Cease scrolling. Forgive one old irritation. The smallest acts of order can create a surprising sense of peace. When global tensions rise, don’t absorb the fear. Channel the energy into usefulness. Choose words carefully. Help someone. Volunteer your steadiness. Be the calmest nervous system in the room. Precision is power. Service is strength.
