Today’s plan
Today was supposed to be a 4 mile run but I have a cranky knee so I stopped at a 5k. I did a walk/jog for 1.3 miles home. The wind is bringing in some cold weather too. Have a great dayπŸ’ž
Today’s plan
MAF and TRAIL RUNNING.
I started doing MAF with Jeffing, then the last 2 runs I ran straight through, keeping my heart rate between 110 and 130. The MAF with Jeffing was a better pace, but it could have been a number of other things. I did my first trail running using MAF. 6.2 miles around Cooper’s Reservoir in Sutherlin ,Oregon. It was beautiful. I’m not sore or tired, didn’t need a nap, and I’m still up at 11pm! I’m excited about this.

My son ran his first half marathon in under 2 hours! I ran the 8K at the Portland Shamrock run.

I came back to running after 4 years off and did my first marathon. I’ve found the enjoyment of running once again and hope for many of years of it.
