❄️ US Winter Storm: Are you and your family okay?
To our US members experiencing this severe winter snowstorm: Hi, my dears. Are you and your family safe, warm, and okay? Is there anything I or our community can help or support you and your family? I wanted to check in. Many have power outages, pipe-burst, trees falling on homes due to heavy snow, and other challenges. I’ve been looking at our community Map tab and thinking of our members affected by this storm. 😢 My family and I are in the Dallas, Texas area. We’re affected, too. We’re safe, warm, and fine. Schools have been cancelled today and tomorrow. Maybe Wednesday too—we get updates throughout the day. It’s recommended not to go out and drive. I’m following that warning seriously of course, and we haven’t left home since Friday when our storm started…As you know, I’m a car accident lawyer, so the worst scenarios about car accidents go through my mind. Safety first is my motto. We’re fully stacked with supplies so far. If anyone needs support of any kind, please don’t hesitate to let us know here. We’re here for you. I’m here for you. Even prayers and positive thoughts help. 💕 I’m thinking of you. 🙏

our area is always ready for winter conditions and weird storms but this one missed us - just extreme cold warnings (like frost bite in under 5 minutes on exposed skin)

As promised, today is THE day! 🥳 🚨 One full day where all of us are welcome to promote our businesses, offers, communities, products, or anything we've been working on.🚨 Today, we welcome promotion. And it’s intentional. Why? Because I learned from my failures that if I don't actually tell people what I do, they will never know. 🔥 This concept seems self-evident, right? But I failed to do this when I started my law firm 7 years ago. 🤦‍♀️ That led to missed opportunities, clients, and revenue. 🙄 My oversight felt painful. I still cringe remembering it now. So, learning from that mistake, I moved forward by making sure I share with everyone what I do — especially with my family and friends! ---------------------------------------- How to pitch: 1️⃣ Pick ONE thing to share One offer, one community, or one service you want others to know that you're working on. 2️⃣ Copy and paste this sample format: - Who I help: - What I help with: - What I’m offering: - Link or contact info: 3️⃣ Choose ONE visual of your product, business, or your picture (optional but super helpful) Keep it simple. Progress over perfection is what we're practicing here. ♥️ ---------------------------------------- 🚗 Here's mine (about my separate law firm business that you probably didn't know I do as well...until now!): Format 1: - Who I help: I help people injured in car accidents in Texas, California, and Arizona. - What I help with: I help them get the proper medical care they need and the financial relief they're entitled to for their pain and suffering. - What I’m offering: Free consultation - Link or contact info: DM me here if you know someone who's been hurt in a car accident. Thanks in advance! Format 2: I help people injured in car accidents in Texas, California, and Arizona get the proper medical care they need and the financial relief they're entitled to for their pain and suffering. I offer a free consultation. Simply DM me here if you know someone who's been hurt in a car accident. Thanks in advance! 🥰

@Sara Fredrick this is an amazing service and so needed. My kids would have benefited for sure. What age do you begin working with kids?

@Katherine Lizardo Thank you so much for the thoughtful feedback! 💛✨ The main focus of our community is supporting adults with ADHD 🧠, and most of our classroom content, daily supports, and coaching conversations are created with adults in mind. That said, many adults in our community are also parents, caregivers, or part of Neurospicy families 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 — and I didn’t want to ignore the very real challenges that show up in those dynamics. Starting in February, I’m introducing Family Seed Packets as an optional layer of support 🌿. These packets give families age‑appropriate tools to grow together, whether the neurospicy traits show up in a parent, a child, or multiple family members. The goal is to help create a more ADHD‑friendly home 🏡 without shifting the entire community into a parenting space. So parenting support is available — but it’s not the main mission. The heart of the community remains centered on adult ADHD support 🌱, with family tools offered as an added resource for those who want them. 💜 And just to add — I created this pitch with this community in mind, so I included more detail than I normally would in other spaces ✨. I wanted to give everyone here a clear picture of what we’re building and why. And about the name “Cooking Growth with ADHD” — here’s how it fits: It’s not about food 🍳 — it’s about the process. Just like cooking, ADHD growth happens one small, doable step at a time. We break things down into simple ingredients, tiny actions, and supportive rhythms so your brain can actually follow through. We also organize our tools into ADHD-friendly “recipes” so members can build a personal menu that works for their brain 🍽️🧠. Just like in a real kitchen, not everyone likes the same recipes — and every recipe can be tweaked, adapted, or seasoned to fit your preferences. We’re not cooking with food… we’re cooking with the ingredients of personal growth, designed specifically for neurospicy brains.

💚 Start of the Week Check-In 💚
The last two weeks felt very different for me. My 9–5 was shut down, and I had more space than usual - time to meditate, tone and workout/yoga daily, journal, and really connect with myself. I used that space intentionally. I planned the next phase of marketing for my coaching work. I met friends because I wanted to, not because I felt obligated. I followed what felt true instead of what felt urgent. It was productive and cozy... Nourishing in a way that didn’t require pushing. 💚 Today, my “job” routine starts again and I can already feel the shift. More structure. More external demands. My time being asked for by someone else. So today, I’m not trying to cling to the calm. I’m preparing my nervous system for the transition. For me, that looks like: • reminding myself that I can bring some slowness into busy days • choosing one grounding anchor I can return to (breath, body, pause) • easing into the week instead of bracing against it• letting the routine change without making it mean something is wrong Now I’m curious about you 👇 💚 How are you getting yourself ready for this week? 💚 And if you have any gentle tips for transitioning from rest back into work.. I’d love to hear them. Let’s start the week together, honestly and intentionally 💚

The hardest part of the transition for me is always sleep - it gets me everytime!! wee hours of the morning get seen more often than not when rhythms our out of the norm... I will be inching it back and painfully waking up in the morning for a few days at least! I scheduled appointments at 9 am every day this week on purpose so I have a reason to get moving early in my day.

@Reema Rana my husband is a morning person so we have opposite circadian clocks - He is up early and a "sleep in" day for him is rare but it would be like a 9am as a really late sleep.
A Quick End-of-Month Check-In 🥰
Where’s your mind at today? 🧠 Where’s your heart at? 💞 And how’s your ADHD showing up right now? 😄 As we head into the last stretch of the month, I’m noticing two different rhythms among us. Some of us are easing up and moving a little slower. Others are still moving full-speed. Neither is right nor wrong. Just different seasons, different energy. Where do you feel like you’re landing right now?
