High waisted trousers
Hi guys! Recently I have seen a lot of people online talking about high waisted trousers, seems like they are getting back in fashion. I like this trend and I wanted to get a pair myself, but I can't find them anywhere. I went to all stores in my local shopping mall, looked online and nothing. Do you know where I can get a pair of high waisted trousers? I am from Poland btw, so I'm looking for brands that are in the European market, or at least ship to Europe, but I'll appreciate all suggestions. P.S. what do you think of this trend?
Ties and pocket squares...do they have to be expensive?
I've always thought that really GOOD ties were wildly expensive pieces of sewn fabric, in silk and wool and other nice varieties of material. Then I see Antonio's recommended site, Bows-N-Ties.com and see easily affordable ties and pocket squares. I have to assume that if Antonio thinks they are good, there is something to them. Does anyone mind sharing their experience with the site and its products?

Well usually "you get what you pay", but I would not spend a fortune on a tie. Personally I just don't get polyester or any type of artificial material, not because I want to impress anyone, but because it's better for the environment. The bottom line is: you wear the thing, not the price tag, if it looks good it is good.
Should “fanny packs” or cross body packs be in your casual wardrobe?
In 1990, when I started my federal law-enforcement career, fanny packs were all the rage. For practical reasons, I liked them, because you could carry a concealed firearm. They eventually, by the mid 90s, got to be really fancy. Leather versions, all sorts of designer versions, and what not. I’ve noticed within the last couple years they seem to have made a comeback. Not as flamboyant as in the 90s, but they are definitely back with Millennials and Gen Z. Even more popular though and sometimes very stylish are the crossbody bags, which seem to have been adopted by some big name designer houses. I particularly notice them when I am overseas or in Las Vegas. Not sure if I like the idea of a crossbody bag as something I want to wear, although I have thought about getting one when recently in Italy. What do you guys think about either fanny packs or crossbody bags being part of your fashion ensemble?

I would totally rock a quality leather fanny pack if I had one 🙃 although those cheep canvas ones give you the appearance of a bazaar carpet salesman.
What Are Your Pet Peeves in Clothing or Style?
Let’s talk style foe paws (yes, I said it). What are your biggest pet peeves when it comes to clothing or fashion missteps? I’ll start with two that drive me absolutely nuts: 1. Non-functional buttons – If my jacket has buttons, they better do something. Faux buttons on sleeves or pockets feel like a missed opportunity (or just lazy design). 2. Brand tags left on suit sleeves – That stitched-on white label? It’s meant to be removed. I can’t tell you how many young professionals I’ve interviewed wearing suits with that tag still on. It screams “off the rack and rushed. No clue.” That said, we’ve all been there. My wife once threw away all my collar tabs, thinking they were garbage—so I get it. These things aren’t always taught, which is exactly why we should be helping each other (and the next generation) learn the little details that matter. So what are your style pet peeves? Let’s hear ’em.

I meant the 2 button thing.

Living in Europe, I have never seen a brand tag on a sleeve of a jacket. So either I am inexperienced or it's just an American thing 🤔
Curious about people’s rituals/intentionality?
Hi all - As I have gotten older I have found myself more and more intentional about what I do in virtually all aspects of my life and learning to “Slow down” with almost every task including putting on and tying my shoes as an example. This is how I found @Antonio O. Centeno and these wonderful groups. I have embarked on the latest intentional step included in my face care routine which is Wet Shaving with a Double Edge razor because you have to take your time or risk slitting your own throat 🤣. I’m curious how many other gents here are doing the same and whether or not it might be worth having another section of this forum geared towards intentionality or wet shaving etc? Just a thought. I’m curious and looking forward to hearing from you all. Thanks in advance.

Looking at the magnitude of comments one can safely assume that... yeah, we maybe probably need a separate section for this ;p
