Too busy for my own good 🥵
Well, as well intentioned as I've been, I have yet to do the exercise. Gonna have to put it in my calendar like I would a date. Only way I think I'm gonna get to it. Anyone else challenged this way? 🤪

@Nadeem Al-Hasan unsure of best time, though likely not evenings as I come home from teaching my evening classes wiped out. Up at 6am, class until 1p, then teach until 8p, get home closer to 9p than not...Eeeek, just reading that made me tired! 😜
Module 3: Co-Regulation & Nervous System Communication
📝 Share Your #1 Take-Away Below! If you consider yourself an empath and spend a lot of time around a dysregulated person, you might start feeling like their stress is your own. Many connect over their stressors or traumas, discussing the latest distressing news as a way to bond. But this is co-dysregulation. As a practitioner of this work, co-regulation is foundational and is one of the most crucial topics and skill sets for humans to learn is co-regulation. Co-regulation is all about how your electrical bubble, your nervous system, interacts with another's nervous system. When we spend time with someone with a regulated nervous system, we start to co-regulate with them, finding balance without saying a word. Conversely, if someone's dysregulated and we spend time with them, we might start to feel dysregulated ourselves. We discuss this in this video.

@Sharon Eland Thank you for asking. I'm keeping busy and keeping my distance. What home at the same time, I use my headphones, I practice my music or study so, no reason to engage. It's helping. ✌️

@James Johnny Thank you, what ideas do you have in mind? ✌️
Depression tips
DEPRESSION TIPS: Shower. Not a bath, a shower. Use water as hot or cold as you like. You don’t even need to wash. Just get in under the water and let it run over you for a while. Sit on the floor if you gotta. Moisturize everything. Use whatever lotion you like. Unscented? Dollar store lotion? Fancy 48 hour lotion that makes you smell like a field of wildflowers? Use whatever you want, and use it all over your entire dermis. Put on clean, comfortable clothes. Put on your favorite underwear. Cute black lacy panties? Those ridiculous boxers you bought last christmas with candy cane hearts on the butt? Put them on. Drink cold water. Use ice. If you want, add some mint or lemon for an extra boost. I always use lemon. Clean something. Doesn’t have to be anything big. Organize one drawer of a desk. Wash five dirty dishes. Do a load of laundry. Scrub the bathroom sink. Blast music. Listen to something upbeat and dancey and loud, something that’s got lots of energy. Sing to it, dance to it, even if you suck at both. Make food. Don’t just grab a granola bar to munch. Take the time and make food. Even if it’s ramen. Add something special to it, like a soft boiled egg or some veggies. Prepare food, it tastes way better, and you’ll feel like you accomplished something. Make something. Write a short story or a poem, draw a picture, color a picture, fold origami, crochet or knit, sculpt something out of clay, anything artistic. Even if you don’t think you’re good at it. Create. Go outside. Take a walk. Sit in the grass. Look at the clouds. Smell flowers. Put your hands in the dirt and feel the soil against your skin. Call someone. Call a loved one, a friend, a family member, call a chat service if you have no one else to call. Talk to a stranger on the street. Have a conversation and listen to someone’s voice. If you can’t bring yourself to call, text or email or whatever, just have some social interaction with another person. Even if you don’t say much, listen to them. It helps.

Hey, all! First day of massage school was amazing, already I can tell it's gonna be a challenge for sure so, I'm only on my Instagram and Facebook for no more than an hour once a week, Fridays after school, due to lack of time. This is why I'll not be seen here much, lots of study and focus to learn and pass, for the next 8mths. Eeeek! Soooooo happy to have found the Daily Breathwork video on YouTube!!!!! I hope to try it tonight right before, in bed. I'll do my best to share my experience when I do. And, I am intending to do so daily as I hear is encouraged. ✨️🙏✌️
