Lightweight jacket
What have you found to be a comfortable, lightweight, casual jacket for Fall weather? Basically a hoodie substitute. Think sports games, bonfires, early mornings in Fall. Not too casual but not too formal. Ideas welcomed. I remember my grandpa's old light blue zip up but, figured better not go there (yet). 😄

I’ve found that a jean or border jacket works really well for the fall.
🍂 Signature Details: Why the Small Things Make the Man
Most guys focus on the big pieces - jackets, shirts, shoes. But what really separates a sharp dresser are the details: the watch on your wrist, the texture of your jacket, the way your belt matches your shoes, the scent you leave behind. These aren’t extras - they’re what people remember. This October in RMRS - we’re focusing on signature details: - Accessories - Fabrics & Textures - Patterns - Grooming & Fragrance - Shoes & Final Touches - By the end of the month, you’ll see how small upgrades make the biggest impact. 👉 What’s the first detail people notice in your style?

I always wear a pocket square and almost no one else does so I often get compliments
Red looks great
I always get compliments on this red velvet blazer and I’ve been able to wear it to black tie events as you see pictured below but also with the sleeves rolled up with a tee shirt and jeans.

Estate sale stuff today
I went to several sales today. The first one had some art opportunities, but their prices were just too high. I did however find a great watch deal and also found a pink tie that I need for suit Wednesday because we're invited to wear pink in recognition of breast cancer awareness month. Otherwise I would have switched suit day to Thursday. Anyway, here's my $3 tie, my $4 Boss shirt (in a nicely different green color) and believe it or not, my new Citizen dress watch for a mere $5! It wasn't running when I bought it so I thought I might be in store for another capacitor replacement job. But when I got it outside in the light it started running! I left it on my dash all day in the sunlight while we drove around. I'm pretty happy with these purchases. Other stuff I bought at various sales was 3 cedar shoe trees, a box of 16 LED light bulbs, and a vintage game that I may resell after playing with it for a while.

Saturday's wedding threads
tomorrow's wedding fit is my best suit. it's a holland sherry cloth...which many of you I'm sure know of. this particualr suit is of the "argento" line which, from the limited amopunt of info I could find on Google I'm lead to believe is something like 20 super fine with a silver shield...whatever the hell that is! It was $150 off poshmark and the most expensive I've bought. I had it tailored for maybe $100 and I absolutely love it. Shoes are gifted A.E Park Aves in Chili Pocket watch is a gift from my brother on his wedding. Really love this look.
