Did anyone else decide then didn’t like their main mock up after listing 165 items then spend 3 hours updating the whole store with a new one for each listing? Just me?🤣 If you’re starting out make sure you nail your first listing because if you’re copying the listing for similar items it’s a real ball ache🫠

I have noticed a trend going on lately that I feel I need to make you aware of, in case you weren’t. With the raise of AI, cheeky customers can alter the product images to make the look damaged. As a shop owner you need to be vigilant about this. In my 1.5 years of selling, I have dealt with a few shady customers trying to make false claims. As AI struggles to replicate text or be consistent, you can do the following: ask the customer to send multiple images of the damage from different angles or you can ask them to send a photo of the damage with the shipping label in the same frame. If you offer returns, never refund until you received the return; it is Etsy’s policy. Most will turn cold feet and never respond back. You risk a bad review but they can leave it either way if they have bad intentions.
