Finally Facing the Fear of Cold Calling πŸ˜…
After months of putting off cold calling, I finally decided to take the plunge this year. I can’t even describe the anxiety of picking up the phoneβ€”but I know some of you can relate. Right now, I’m starting small with just five calls a day to push past the fear. At the end of the day, I know it’s just a numbers game, and the real goal is to build resilience. πŸ˜… For those of you who’ve been through thisβ€”how many calls did it take before you stopped feeling that pre-dial anxiety? Whether it was the night before or minutes before hitting dial, when did it start feeling β€œnormal”?

How has the first few days gone? Would be very interested in finding out how you are feeling after the first call and how you are feeling now.

@Szymon Balcer Great work on getting appointments. How did they go? Well done for getting through this week. Keep it going next week and build momentum! Let us know next week how you get on.
Client Sourcing
Hi all. I am trying to refine my process for compiling my client prospect list to eventually cold call. Therefore I am curious on how others compile their lists. I would love to know what are your methods and strategies which you use to build your lists? Any tools of which people use also.
It starts with the perfect pitch, the problems and then what?
Hello Underdog sales community. Some advice if possible? You have the perfect pitch, this then allows you to deliver what you think the clients problems are and how these problems affect them. The client agrees these problems exist! Then…. where do you go from there? Is this where typically you should get a meeting to discuss resolutions further? I suppose it is a question about structure of a sales call: 1. Opener 2. Problem identification 3. Close Any help would be hugely appreciated! First time poster that could do with some structure.

It all the depends on the service of which you provide. If it is something that requires an in detail message over 10 minutes, look to schedule another call. If less that 10 minutes, start with how you can help with said problems and how you and only you has that solution. I hope this helps.

@Steven L. Apologies my wording there is incorrect. I meant it as a figure of speech. Ie make them feel as if you are the only person who can fix their issue.
LinkedIn Messages...?βœ‰οΈπŸ€”
Do you message new connections on linked in? What messages have worked best for your team? What's the liklihood of it turning into a meeting?

@Davidson Curtis approach of messaging about their posts is a good way of building rapport. Also warms up the lead.

Client Nurturing
Hello everyone, this is probably a different post than usual. Lets say you went past the first step and now you want to start nurturing the client to establish a relationship, how often do you aim to contact the client and also monitor the satisfaction with the product /service that you offet? I know every industry is different but I suppose is good to see what everyone does

Couple of likes on LinkedIn posts a few comments. Build the rapport, then message then call. Warm the lead up by liking and commenting. Get them to see your name on their posts. Then go for the message with appreciation and then a call
