It starts with the perfect pitch, the problems and then what?
Hello Underdog sales community. Some advice if possible? You have the perfect pitch, this then allows you to deliver what you think the clients problems are and how these problems affect them. The client agrees these problems exist! Then…. where do you go from there? Is this where typically you should get a meeting to discuss resolutions further? I suppose it is a question about structure of a sales call: 1. Opener 2. Problem identification 3. Close Any help would be hugely appreciated! First time poster that could do with some structure.

@Ryan Lynch thanks Ryan. Great help. Will give it a go on my next call.
Prep for beginners
Hi guys, hope this finds you well. I've been seeing lots of new members that mentioned that they are new to the cold-calling world. To give them a warm welcome, let's mention a few tips, that could be really useful. I'll start first - don't be afraid or embarrassed, it's not like public speaking. The worst thing that can happen is to get rejected. More rejections = better at handling future ones. Easy peasy lemon sqeezy.

Finally Facing the Fear of Cold Calling 😅
After months of putting off cold calling, I finally decided to take the plunge this year. I can’t even describe the anxiety of picking up the phone—but I know some of you can relate. Right now, I’m starting small with just five calls a day to push past the fear. At the end of the day, I know it’s just a numbers game, and the real goal is to build resilience. 😅 For those of you who’ve been through this—how many calls did it take before you stopped feeling that pre-dial anxiety? Whether it was the night before or minutes before hitting dial, when did it start feeling “normal”?

It’s all in your brain. You control that feeling of telephone anxiety. It will always be there, I have learnt it’s how you deal with it and prepare yourself. Poor preparation leads to poor performance. Be confident in your pitch and your product/service, this will give you mental confidence. You got this! More calls, more experience! Good luck.
