Hearing The Voice Of God
Scripture: “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” — John 10:27 Hearing the voice of God is not reserved for prophets, pastors, or “super spiritual” people. Jesus made it plain: His sheep hear His voice. The issue is rarely whether God is speaking. The issue is whether we are listening, and whether we know how to recognize which voice we’re hearing. God’s voice is not frantic. It doesn’t accuse. It doesn’t confuse. And it never contradicts His Word. His voice brings clarity, even when the instruction is challenging. It brings peace, even when the calling stretches you. And it always draws you closer to Him, not farther from His presence. Many people miss God’s voice because they’re waiting for something dramatic— a loud sound, a sign in the sky, a feeling. But most of the time, God speaks in stillness. In Scripture. In conviction. In alignment. The goal is not just to hear His voice… but to recognize it quickly and obey it consistently.
When God Lifts Your Head
Scripture: “But You, O LORD, are a shield around me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.” — Psalm 3:3 There are moments when life hits hard— moments that make you look down, question yourself, or even feel a little discouraged. But God doesn’t leave you in that posture. He steps into the places where your head hangs low and gently lifts your chin. Not to ignore the struggle, but to remind you who is with you. He is your shield—protecting you from what you cannot see. He is your glory—restoring what life tried to diminish. He is the lifter of your head—pulling your eyes back to Him. Today, let God lift your focus. Not on the problem… but on His promise. Not on what’s missing… but on what’s possible. Not on the weight you’re carrying… but on the God who carries you. You’re not defeated. You’re not alone. You’re being lifted.
God Is Still Working
Scripture: “Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 1:6 🕊️ Devotion Some days it feels like nothing is changing. You pray, you try, you believe… yet the breakthrough seems quiet. But silence is not absence. Waiting is not wasted time. And delay is not denial. God is still working—even when you don’t feel it. He is shaping you in ways you cannot measure yet. Healing what no one else can see. Strengthening parts of you that will soon carry more responsibility, more blessing, and more purpose. Remember—God never starts something He doesn’t plan to finish. Your growth may be hidden right now, but your future is still unfolding. So don’t quit. Don’t retreat. Don’t shrink back in the dark. Trust the process. Trust the hand that started it. Trust the God who never fails.
Strength In The Middle
Scripture: “Those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles.” — Isaiah 40:31 The middle is always the hardest part. Not the beginning—when you’re motivated. Not the end—when you can finally see the finish line. But the middle, where it feels slow, quiet, repetitive, and sometimes unseen. Yet this is exactly where God does His deepest work. In the middle, He builds endurance. In the middle, He shapes character. In the middle, He strengthens faith. You may not see outward results today, but God is renewing something inwardly. He hasn’t forgotten you, He hasn’t paused His plans, and He hasn’t left you to figure life out alone. The same God who spoke the promise is the God who sustains you while you wait for it. You don’t have to force anything. You don’t have to rush. You just have to stay faithful in the middle, and God will give you strength you didn’t know you had.
