Etsy fees
It seems that Etsy takes a total of almost 15% of a sale in various fees. Is that right or have I missed something?

@Mihai Volintiriu so you would end up paying 30%? 😲
We just hit 100,000 orders on PrintShrimp 🎉
Wow - can't believe I am writing this! Two of us started PrintShrimp about 18 months ago with no idea what we were doing, limited savings to live off, and a dream. Some of you may remember the days before we had an order portal - we literally accepted orders only via email for the first 6 months! We made an Instagram post to tell the story of how we got here, take a look :) https://www.instagram.com/p/DV_C73ZDAmH/?img_index=1 Don't let anyone tell you Etsy is too saturated - these 100,000 orders literally came from YOU guys! Feel free to take a look at the post and drop us a follow if you haven't already. THANK YOU to all of you for using PrintShrimp. This has been the best journey ever and we feel like we are just getting started 🙏 Love to you all! ❤️

Do the number of Favourites help with visability?
Does the Etsy algorithm get a boost if someone adds your shop to their favourites?? Or does it have no bearing at all? If it DOES help, then maybe we could all list our shops, possibly on a pinned post at the top of the board, to give us all a little lift? Just an idea.... 😎

I think they do. I have one product that has quite a few faves and it consistently outperforms all my others. (It also has more sales and 5* reviews so I suppose that helps!) I don’t think it would be a good idea to get people to favourite all your items - I think Etsy would notice that and see it as spamming. Maybe a better approach would be to pick ONE item that you want to promote. Here - I’ll start the ball rolling: https://patskydesigns.etsy.com/listing/4456373839

Should we put a copyright notice on each piece?

@Mihai Volintiriu Does Temu do POD? Presumably it would be crappy quality?
premium prints
Hi guys, has anyone had success selling premium art prints at £30-65 price points on Etsy? I've just launched a few listings using gallery-grade paper with Giclée printing. obviously this means they are more expensive. What made the difference between listings that converted and ones that didn't - and is it worth going higher end on etsy at all? or do buyers at this price point just care about the design? cheers!

I sell premium price art prints at over £100. Not printshrimp posters obs but my point is that people are prepared to pay for something they really like😄
