Do the number of Favourites help with visability?

Does the Etsy algorithm get a boost if someone adds your shop to their favourites?? Or does it have no bearing at all?

If it DOES help, then maybe we could all list our shops, possibly on a pinned post at the top of the board, to give us all a little lift?
