The Ketone Playbook: My Go-To Protocols + Live Q&A
🚀 Ketones = Game Changer. This is the thread where I’ll drop my go-to ketone protocols ⚡️ and YOU can fire away with any questions. 💬 Comment your experiences, hacks, and questions below—let’s build the ultimate ketone resource together. 👀 Webinar coming soon… stay tuned. Practical Dosing Blueprints 1.Pre-Workout Protocol (Performance & Focus) Goal: Elevate ketones, buffer acidosis, support hydration & glucose supply. - Hydration: 500–750ml water + electrolytes (sodium 500–1000mg, potassium 200–400mg). - Bicarbonate: 0.3 g/kg sodium bicarbonate (~20g for 70kg athlete), dissolved in water. Take 90–120 min before session to minimize GI upset. - Trehalose (Carbohydrate): 15–25g as slow-release carb for sustained glycogen supply. - Ketone Ester (D-BHB/1,3-BD): 15–25ml (~7–12g KE) 10–15 min pre-warmup. Effect: Dual-fuel system (glucose + BHB), reduced acidosis, enhanced mental focus . 2.Intra-Workout Endurance Protocol Goal: Sustain metabolic efficiency, prevent bonk, extend time-to-exhaustion. - Every 60 min: Trehalose or isomaltulose: 20–30g (slow carb). Ketone Ester: 10–15ml (~5–7g KE). - Optional: electrolyte top-up (sodium/potassium). Effect: Preserves glycogen, stabilizes glucose, sustains BHB 1–3 mM . 3.Post-Workout Recovery Protocol Goal: Accelerate glycogen resynthesis, repair, and inflammation control. - Protein: 20–30g whey or EAAs. - Carbs: 40–60g high-GI glucose or maltodextrin. - Ketone Ester: 20–30ml (~10–15g KE), taken 30–45 min post-exercise (separate from carb/protein drink for maximal signaling). - Trehalose: Add 10–15g if training volume is very high or glycogen depleted. Effect: 50% faster glycogen replenishment, stronger mTOR activation, reduced inflammation . 4.Sleep Recovery Protocol (Athletes) Goal: Deep recovery, improve next-day performance. - Ketone Ester: 2.5–10ml (~1–5g KE) immediately before bed. - Optional: Magnesium glycinate/threonate for additional relaxation.

@Elizabeth Yurth I’ve tried PeptiStrong in the SwissRX Synthesis pills. It’s another four pills a day, so large pill load, but I’ve noticed a very clear benefit in reduction of fatigue. It was obvious when I stopped taking it as well
Pep19
Has anyone heard about this peptide before? Sounds promising as it’s orally active. https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/dmrr.70056

For what it’s worth, I take a smaller dosage (5g of ketones, so 16 servings a bottle) and still experience noticeable benefits. Kenetik pro, especially with this group buy, is almost half the price per ketone gram than KE4.
Keys to the Kingdom: Mastering Health Through Pathways, Mechanisms, and Adaptation
When we take the time to study complex disease states and conditions, something powerful happens our thinking evolves. We stop seeing health as a collection of disconnected symptoms and start recognizing the intricate networks of pathways, mechanisms, redox balance, and adaptive responses that shape every outcome in the body. Whether your goal is to build big muscles, get lean, extend your lifespan, or help a loved one overcome a challenge, understanding how these systems interact gives you more than just knowledge it gives you leverage. When you can see where the levers are, and how pulling one affects the others, you hold the keys to the kingdom: the ability to design precise, effective strategies that create lasting change. Which disease model or condition would you like us to dissect next — from pathways to protocols?

I’d be really interested to learn more about Lyme disease and how that affects the body at the cellular level.
Labwork Protocols
for my plan, I’ve been getting monthly bloodwork done to track progress and to ensure nothing is going awry. My usually monthly lab work has been the Marek Diagnostics Organ Function Panel (CBC, CMP, UA, GGT, and Cystsin-C with eGFR) plus a rotating set of additional panels like lipids, vitamin and mineral status. I do hormones and thyroid roughly every quarter. My question to the group is two part: 1) what’s the ideal “rinse out” period for using peptides/supplements before the test? I have a “clean” baseline, so do I want to compare all bloodwork to that, giving a couple days of peptides to wash out, or do I want a “working” status of what my system is like under load. I know certain supplements like Niacin can sway tests. I’m most interested in potential effects of Slu and 5amino1mq. 2) are there any other tests I should add to the monthly rotation to track progress/catch issues? Or am I testing too frequently? Thanks and I appreciate all the awesome info everyone (especially Anthony) is sharing.
