Accountability and vulnerability
Honestly, my mental state has been unstable and unclear(?) - motivation has been on the ground. I have slowed on my workouts, and my usual endurance has drooped. I have not kept up with hydration either, and the weather is getting warmer too so water is definitely much needed. But! I'm taking a deep breath to reset and keep going - went for my weekly barre class and my dear teacher got us dripping sweat. Plus, dragon boat training is coming back up as the team starts planning for the year's races so all the more I'll to keep up with my workouts. I'm holding all the love and energy that this community has shared and continue to share, to keep going. Wherever you are, I hope you're taking care of yourselves.

Thank you @Lena Nguyen I'm feeling a bit better today; went for a circuit training yesterday, and gosh did the coaches push us 😅 (safely). A little bit sore, but it's a good feeling 🥰

@Lena Nguyen hahahah they hover long enough on me 😅 I'm the type that will do the workout, just slower than everyone else. And they give me a minimum, with flexibility to do more if I'm up for it. It's a fun time with all the amazing people; really burns me out. At the same time, very educative because the coaches really emphasise on proper form. So that's really good knowledge for when I workout at home.
Recovery & Maintenance Check
Went in for a chiropractor adjustment and my spine turned into a full Rice Krispies commercial 😂 Snap. Crackle. POP. Instant relief though—walked out lighter, looser, and feeling brand new. Even better? My chiropractor and I both noticed we’ve lost weight and gave each other a little hype moment 💪 Busy mom. Busy practice. Still thriving. Goals. Moral of the story: Lift heavy. Train hard. Recover smarter. 💬 Curious—do you schedule recovery proactively, or only when your body forces you to?

I go to a chiropractor once a month for maintenance. But after my next appointment, if I dont have anything major to monitor, then we'll reduce the frequency for treatments 🙏 Beyond this, hot showers, always. It just melts everything away

@Darren Liu I would add-on to this and ask what's a good timing for meals, i.e. if early morning workouts (let's say 5am) vs evening workouts (6pm)
What do you do ?
I don’t know what to do. I feel like I want to have a large portion of something spicy but when I think about how I seasoned food before I’m scared of all the extra calories I end up adding. I’ve been just having food with hot sauce and it doesn’t taste the same has Korean pepper paste in a stir fry. I’m craving it but then I just add teriyaki sauce and yes I eat it and it works but it’s not the flavour I want.

Has anyone seen or/end tried the new trend of turning plain yogurt into cheesecake by adding graham or some crackers or cookies into it and chilling it in the fridge for a few hours.
