Hump day fallacy
Hump day doesn’t mean slow down, it’s just another chance to get after it. Stop treating Monday like the start and Friday like the finish, every single day is a rep that builds the result. Your brain will try to tell you you’re tired midweek, that’s just old programming, not reality. The guys who get in shape are the ones who show up anyway.

Progress
It's small progress but I'm feeling well proud of myself today! Stuck to my new routine and went to the gym again this morning despite awful sleep and a very cold day, found a friend to go with and we did a class (my first EVER). Now I know the full layout of my gym, have met the PTs and staff and am comfortable to approach them for help and advice (I have never been brave enough to even look up from my knees before) and I stayed on long enough after my friend left to discover what time of the morning is least busy and therefore most comfortable for my anxiety to handle, yay! So grateful to this group for the push 🙏🏿✨️
