Local SEO Win 🔥
It's always fun to see our customers grow in their SEO rankings, but today my business had a personal win! We are now ranking #3 on google in both web design and digital marketing in our local area! Getting to top 3 in map packs for your target keyword means that you actually show up without people having to hit the more businesses button, which is so great!
Creepy guy? Or am I overthinking it?
So I’ve been chatting with a business owner on LinkedIn. He asked for some of my work to look over before we scheduled a call. I directed him to my website, and then I said, “my website is a work in progress, and I plan on doing some updates to it soon.” And in his response to me he said, “definitely a work in progress. You should add a cute pic of yourself to the website and show some of your work on the website.” I don’t know if I am overthinking it, but the response seems off. 😅

It definitely feels weird, but I also understand where you’re coming from. I worked at Lowe’s/Home depot for several years and sometimes old me come across creepy without trying to. Just trust your gut! Glad your call went well
How often do you update your SEO?💻
Have you noticed a drop in traffic, even though you’re still publishing quality content? 👀 Here’s what’s really happening in search right now (September 2025): - AI is answering first. Tools like Google’s AI Overviews now give direct answers, often before they click anything. - Click-through rates are shrinking. Being in the top 10 is no longer a guarantee of traffic. - The new game: it’s not just about ranking—it’s about becoming the answer AI tools cite. 💡 What this means for businesses: 1. Focus on AEO = Answer Engine Optimization → structure content in Q&A, how-to, formats. 2. Explore GEO = Generative Engine Optimization → create original, authoritative content (case studies, research, in-depth guides) that AI is more likely to pull from. 3. Keep your site technically strong → site speed, structured data, crawlability. 4. Don’t forget human oversight → AI-generated content without editing is getting flagged as spam more often. 5. Build your brand signals → the stronger and more consistent your online presence, the more trust AI engines assign. ✨ The takeaway: SEO isn’t dead - it’s evolving. Businesses that adapt to AI-first search will still get visibility, even if traffic looks different. 👉 How about you - are you updating your SEO strategy for this AI-shift?

This is super interesting! I was just having a conversation with a business owner the other day about what its taking to get ranked by AI. I have done a little bit of research, but I would love to connect with you and talk about this a little more!
Cold Messaging
How do you respond when someone cold messages you about a product, service, or opportunity you’re not interested in… and even after you politely say no, they keep persisting? 👉 Do you: - Ignore them completely? - Send a firm “stop contacting me” message? - Stay polite but short until they give up? - Block them? I’m curious what works best for you — drop your response below so we can all share ideas on handling those persistent cold DMs!

@Madeline Littleton I have had people call me on the phone and ask if I was hiring 😂 I also am nowhere near hiring anyone
If 200 people saw your brand…
I don’t have a lot of experience using Instagram for my business yet so I’ve been doing a lot of experimenting and content creation to see what sticks. This weekend I put out a pretty plain reel that just detailed my basic services and was surprised to see today that it had over 200 views just from the for you Instagram page. Most of those people only viewed my post for 1 second, but that made me think, how can I convert more of those views into interest? I will definitely be doing some more work creating reels now that I’ve seen the possible reach! If you had 1 second to capture the attention of 200 people scrolling through their feeds, what would you want them to know about your business?
