Turkish Get Ups
Does anyone regularly do Turkish Get Ups? They are not a regular part of my workouts. I was doing a complex this past weekend that ended with 5 snatches and then 1 reverse Turkish Get Up (or what I call a Turkish Get Down). I bring it up because I found myself repeatedly confused as to which leg/arm does what during the movement. And I almost had a mishap doing it with the 20 kg bell. I am thinking about adding them to my rountine more regularly. Although, I have seen many people argue that Turkish Get Ups are rather pointless. What are your thoughts? Anyone have strong feelings either way?

I too do them as a "get down", and remember that you kneel on the opposite knee to the hand which has the KB overhead and it should flow from there.

Haha im not coordinated either! But thats probably more of a reason TO practise them. Even unweighted they are a good movement.
**LIVE Q & A**
Hey guys, I’m on the tail end of creating that “Man-Maker” program I told y’all about a month or so back, and now that I’m gonna have way more time to be more consistently present here, I wanted to organize a LIVE Q&A. Before I do though, I wanted to know (1) what time slot works best for you guys (morning, midday, or evening), and (2) what suggestions you’d like to focus primarily on? Leave your responses in the comments section below!! P.S. Check out the SWEET kiddie tattoo my wife made for my daughter! And yes, I did used to have a mullet!

Would the Q&A be uploaded to Skool or YT afterwards? I'm on the other side of the world so doubt I'd be able to watch it live
Tactical Cleans/Snatches
Does anyone do tactical cleans and tactical snatches? The complexes I am working through incorporate them sometimes and I have never attempted them. A tactical clean is when you swing the bell with your R hand but then clean it with the L hand. Is there a benefit to this? Is it just something fun to do? I would imagine I need to drop the weight to figure out how to switch hands without hurting myself . . . but is a tactical clean something I should even do? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vzwic5aWsCs

Ive never seen this one before. Might be OK as a warmup with a light bell, but otherwise I can't see the Risk Vs Reward being in your favour. Definitely wouldn't be able to swing with the same explosiveness. I think you'd get the same result with less chance of dropping on your foot by doing a 1 hand swing and swapping with the bell away from you between each clean.

A peak at what’s to come..
Here’s a Quick Look at the guts of the new “Man Maker” program I’m in the process of creating. If you’ve got any suggestions to add to it, I’m all ears!!! Seriously…if you’ve have suggestions or questions, leave them below. I make these programs for YOU…So if there’s anything more you want but don’t see, now’s your time to chime in!! Hands Up…Keep Fighting!!!

I'm excited for this one Coach! I hate burpees but they are a staple at my gym. Doing manmakers in my own sessions should start to make them easier!
Variety
Just inquiring on variety with kettlebell workouts and how and when you should cycle thru different kettlebell workouts. Obviously one main factor would be how much experience you have on Kettlebells to do some of the exercises e.g clean and press, snatches and just cleans.

You can recycle a normal split program by altering the movements to make them harder with the same weight to get a good foundation. Example would be the press, maybe your bell is heavy too press so you might push-press for 2 weeks on your press day, then the next 2 weeks maybe you can start to strict press, then the next 2 weeks change to a kneeling press or something similar. And do that with all movements Pull/press/squat/hinge, you get the idea. Then after those 3 cycles you could essentially run that same program with heavier weight and start all that progression again. Keeps things interesting and you'll get a good amount of time to "own" each weight and each movement before changing things up.

Great point on ladders @Ron Bowman . Doing a really strict form ladder of 2,3,5 is much better than struggling through 10 garbage reps when fatigue sets in.

I'm Mike, I believe movement is medicine and I hope to find some accountability to do a little bit extra every day.
