Day 16 Challenge: 🧠 Is it a problem or Opportunity?
When starting a business we hit many problems. We ask ourselves, "why do these problems keep happening to me?" I wish someone had told me that business is all about about solving problems. And the bigger the problems you solve the bigger to reward. Once I worked this out I didn't even look at them as problems anymore. I saw them as opportunities. To create a better product or service to solve a big customer problems. The problems never stop. In fact they get bigger as your business grows. They are just different problems. You will have to re-skill, and wear different 'hats'. Don't make the mistake of thinking you know what your customers problems are you need to speak to them. I do this as part of the customer on boarding process. I have personally spoken with over 1000 customers. They will tell you their burning problems. Customers love to speak with the business owner. Sure it's not super scaleable, but it will also increase life time value of the customer and you will glean some great insights and have the edge on your competition. Just listen to them, their problems are where the gold is. Pick up the phone, trawl through the support inbox, the nuggets are there.

Ritalin, my experience..
So, yesterday I tried Ritalin for the first time because I was overwhelmed from my mail inboxes. For 3 weeks I avoided them all like a plague. In just 4 hours after taking it I cleaned all of them no problem at all. I even reorganized all of my 3 inboxes and it was in a sort of next level hyper-focus. I've written down what I experienced, here's what happened: 1. I was able to resist impulses much better, they still came but there was like a window where I could decide to act on it or not. Normally it feels more like a compulsion 2. My handwriting improved right away 3. Colors were a bit more intense for me 4. I was clear headed, there wasn't any background noise going on in my head. It was silent but for one stream of clear thoughts There were some negative effects as well: 1. Muscles tensed up a bit faster for me, especially for my eyes and shoulders 2. Got hungry faster & needed more bathroom trips 3. After the meds were off I was feeling chaotic But I got to tell ya, if I could operate from that place every day. Life would be a walk in the park... Because of this experience I will now get my official diagnosis, I already started the process but I ADHD'ed around it. I also had a long conversation with a friend of mine who also has ADHD and he's on medication as well & he says the same. A different world. So I'm going on a new adventure to go into the care system and see what happens! I'll be sharing my progress with you guys. P.S. Anyone know that movie Limitless? That's what it felt like.

Long-term ADHD meds: has anyone stopped?
Hey everyone šŸ”„ I’ve got a question for those of you who have ADHD and take medication to get through your day. I’m wondering if any of you were on medication for a long time and, after trying a few things, decided to stop taking it completely. About two weeks ago, I did a little test and stopped taking my meds for around 8–10 days. With some good habits and a few tricks, I was still able to get through my daily to-do lists pretty well. The only reason I started taking them again was for my overall well-being. When I’m on my medication, I have less mental chaos and less internal noise. I’m asking because I’m in a bit of a dilemma. I’m tired of the feeling the medication gives me, but at the same time it really helps. Without it, I’m just as productive—sometimes even more. I’m curious to hear from anyone who relates to this. THANKS ! šŸ„øšŸ”„

From a clinical perspective, it's great that you're tracking these shifts... are you finding that the medication helps more with emotional regulation and sensory filtering than with the actual task completion?
