Day 16 Challenge: 🧠 Is it a problem or Opportunity?
When starting a business we hit many problems.
We ask ourselves, "why do these problems keep happening to me?"
I wish someone had told me that business is all about about solving problems.
And the bigger the problems you solve the bigger to reward.
Once I worked this out I didn't even look at them as problems anymore.
I saw them as opportunities.
To create a better product or service to solve a big customer problems.
The problems never stop. In fact they get bigger as your business grows.
They are just different problems. You will have to re-skill, and wear different 'hats'.
Don't make the mistake of thinking you know what your customers problems are you need to speak to them. I do this as part of the customer on boarding process. I have personally spoken with over 1000 customers.
They will tell you their burning problems. Customers love to speak with the business owner.
Sure it's not super scaleable, but it will also increase life time value of the customer and you will glean some great insights and have the edge on your competition.
Just listen to them, their problems are where the gold is. Pick up the phone, trawl through the support inbox, the nuggets are there.
