Sugar cravings …. It’s seems those who crave sweets have a harder time with weight than those who crave salty/savory

@Rheece Hartte it seems people who crave the French fries and mashed potatoes struggle less than those who crave sweets…. Maybe not ? But from what I have seen the people with a sweet tooth have somewhat of an addiction
Loneliness Is the New Smoking
Multiple studies show that chronic loneliness and social isolation increase the risk of early death at levels comparable to smoking about 15–20 cigarettes per day. Why Loneliness Is So Damaging - Stress Response- Loneliness activates the body’s stress pathways, keeping cortisol elevated. Chronic high cortisol contributes to inflammation, poor sleep, and fat storage, especially belly fat. - Immune Function- Isolation weakens immune defenses, making people more vulnerable to infections and slower recovery. - Cardiovascular Health- Social disconnection is linked with higher blood pressure, heart disease, and stroke risk. - Mental Health- Loneliness is strongly associated with depression, anxiety, and cognitive decline. The Big Picture We are wired for connection. Just like food, water, and sleep, relationships are a biological necessity. When they’re missing, the body interprets it as a survival threat (there's that perceived STRESS again) — which is why the health impact can rival that of smoking, obesity, or physical inactivity. FitnHealthy Forever Tips - 1. Schedule Real Connection Block time each week for a phone call, walk, or coffee with a friend or family member. Treat it like a non-negotiable appointment for your health. 2. Join a Group With Shared Purpose Whether it’s a fitness class, a book club, or an online community (like FitnHealthy Forever 😉), surrounding yourself with people who share your goals creates instant belonging. Invite a Friend? 3. Practice “Micro-Connections” Daily Smile at a stranger, chat with a barista, engage with the clerk at a checkout, or compliment a coworker. Tiny interactions add up and reduce the feeling of isolation

Wow I really do believe this

Growing up - being skinny was ‘ popular’, pudgy was not.⁣ ⁣ I wanted to be liked and fit in so bad that the only way I knew how to be skinny was to eat less and exercise more.⁣ ⁣ I remember the sleepless nights because I was SO hungry. But by morning, feeling victorious because I did it!⁣ ⁣ I became such a pro that I was able to stick with it for some time…⁣ ⁣ If I overate, I felt guilty. If I enjoyed dessert, I told myself I’d have to “make up for it” later. Punishing myself with more exercise and low calorie food.⁣ ⁣ Rice cakes was my main staple because they had ‘no fat’.⁣ ⁣ After time passed I started seeing/feeling the effects of my lack of knowing what to do: hair falling out, lost my menstrual cycle, developed a serious bone disease, I couldn’t think straight, my brain was starving and heavily fatigued.⁣ ⁣ It got so bad I remember thinking to myself “I feel like I’m dying”⁣ ⁣ Then.. I swear, it was a divine intervention..⁣ ⁣ One day I was in West Vancouver, and I randomly look over to a windowsill of Mosaic Books to see a magazine cover reading ‘Alive Health’⁣ ⁣ It really caught my attention for some reason (probably because I literally felt dead)⁣ ⁣ I went inside to read it, and came to realize it was the opposite of what I’ve been taught. So I thought ‘Why isn’t this information out there?’⁣ ⁣ I then remember hiring a natural doctor at the time to help me. (We didn’t have nutritional coaches back then).⁣ ⁣ It didn’t take long until I started seeing some results. There was no going back. Never.⁣ ⁣ Now, over 20 years later I am so grateful for that moment.⁣ ⁣ Fully reversed my disease, got highly educated through numerous serious degrees, and finally feel confident and energetic in my own body.⁣ ⁣ Best part is, I’m no longer a prisoner to my disempowering thoughts and now have food freedom.⁣ ⁣ No more starving⁣ No more depriving⁣ No more guilt⁣ ⁣ Only pure health.⁣ ⁣ Turning 58 next month, can’t wait to see what’s next to come!⁣ ⁣ Michale ❤️

This is wonderful
Myth #14 - Spot-reducing fat works.
Truth - You can't choose where your body burns fat. Fat loss happens systemically, not locally. WHY This Myth is Wrong - Doing 100 sit-ups won't shrink belly fat. Fat loss is driven by overall calorie balance, hormones, and genetics. Targeted exercises build muscle-but won't burn fat in that area. FitnHealthy Forever - Simple Tip - Focus on full-body strength training 3-4x/week to support total fat loss. The Fat you want to release will "melt off like a coat of butter", not just one spot. Have you ever focused on one area hoping to lose fat there? What did you learn?
