Gratitude Is More Powerful Than We Think
Gratitude and appreciation are often seen as soft skills. But research has shown they have measurable effects on our mental clarity, resilience, and wellbeing. When we sincerely feel grateful for people, experiences, or even everyday comforts, our heart rhythms become more balanced and synchronised. This improves emotional regulation and helps us make better decisions, especially during stressful times. Scientists have also studied what’s known as the “Helper’s High”. When we do something meaningful for others, it creates a positive emotional uplift that benefits both the giver and the receiver. In today’s high-pressure environment, simple practices like daily gratitude can make a significant difference. If you’d like to build this into your daily routine, we practise gratitude together every day on the Skool platform inside The Change Makers. What are you grateful for today?
Saturday: The Salt Story You Were Never Told
If you think salt is the villain, you might be running on outdated science. Today, I’m dropping a tiny clue from my community’s deep‑dive master class. No full explanations. No spoilers. Just enough to make you tilt your head and wonder what else you’ve been taught that's not true. There’s a reason your energy, mood, sleep, and cravings shift when you change your salt intake and it has nothing to do with “water retention” or “being healthy.” Let’s just say: Your body has a whole hormonal emergency system that flips on when salt is too low, and most people have no idea it’s happening. You’ve been blaming the wrong thing. Before you change anything, just notice: - Are your hands cold or warm - Is your heart rate jumpy - Do you feel wired or steady - Are your cravings louder than usual These aren’t random. They’re signals. And they’re connected to a story you were never taught. If you want the full breakdown, the physiology, the history, the myth‑busting, the “oh wow that makes sense” moment, that’s happening inside my community this evening. But for now, just sit with the question: What if salt was never the problem? 14 days left to join for $26. Click that link. I've left the light on for you! 💡💡💡💡 https://www.skool.com/simcha-healthcare-3222/about

Fluid Intelligence Friday
If your brain feels slower than it used to, there’s a reason. Most people think their focus problems are about motivation. Or discipline. Or “getting their life together.” But here’s the truth: Your brain isn’t misbehaving. It’s responding. Responding to signals. Responding to patterns. Responding to things you don’t even realize you’re doing, or not doing, every single day. And the wild part? It’s almost never the thing you think it is. There are a handful of levers that determine how clearly you think, how quickly you process, how well you switch tasks, and how stable you feel in your own head. Most people are pulling the wrong ones. Hard. That’s why your brain feels foggy on days you “did everything right.” That’s why you can’t focus even when you want to. That’s why your thoughts feel heavy, slow, or scattered. It’s not you. It’s the biology running the show. And once you understand those levers, the real ones, your brain starts feeling like you again. If you want the clinical breakdown I teach all of this inside my community, the physiology, the patterns, the rituals, the “why your brain does that” explanations no one ever gave you. And for February only, it’s $26/month It’s less than what most people spend on coffee in a week, and it will change how your brain feels in your body. If you want clarity instead of chaos If you want your brain back Join us. The class will be post this evening. https://www.skool.com/simcha-healthcare-3222/about

How Gratitude Makes Communities Feel Better
When you take a moment to appreciate someone, even quietly in your own mind, something shifts inside you. You feel lighter.Your mood lifts.Your focus moves away from stress. Even if the person never sees your words, the feeling still matters. Appreciation creates connection, and connection changes how we feel. Every group has a feeling. When people do this in a community, the whole space feels better. Less tension. Less comparison. More kindness. That feeling comes from where people put their attention. When people regularly practise gratitude, especially towards others, the whole community feels calmer and more supportive. This is part of what we do in The Change Makers. Daily gratitude helps people stay positive, present, and connected. No pressure. No pretending. Just simple awareness. Question for today: Who has helped you or impacted you recently, and have you taken a moment to appreciate them?
