Office Hours in 1 Hour + February Tracking Mission
Hey all, Q & A in an hour and I want to spend a part of it really digging into the tracking system, just so you're set up to actually run yours and stay consistent with it this month so you can get clients. Funnily enough, I went back to March last year when I was doing it for a month and I can safely say, this is where my year really took off. In January, I launched this community. Put a lot of time and energy into it (for little return financailly) and often at the expense of selling my high-ticket offer. This left me ending February feeling behind in March because I had only a few clients, was way behind my goal for the year, and I needed a cash injection fast 😂 I'll talk through everything I did to turn it around and show you why tracking was at the centre of it all. I really want you to take this seriously for February, because there are so many insights you'll get from being intentional with your actions, setting constraints, and iterating on yoiur progress weekly/bi-weekly. You'll build better processes, work faster, and step into the identity of who you need to become to get the results you want. This ain't woo-woo stuff haha. Btw, I may try to vibe-code a dashboard/tracker to make my Notion version more user-friendly and something to use it as an internal tool with you guys / and clients. But first, I want to see if it's worth my doing time (because I won't create something nobody's gonna use). This month will tell me everything I need to know 😉 Hopefully see you in an hour. ~Kev P.S. The rewards system for tracking your actions this month will be explained in Office Hours too. Anyone who wants the bonus calls needs to complete this by Feb 24th. For anyone who missed the call, here's the recap

There's a Google Sheet version here you can use if easier.
Workshop Idea for Educators -- Your Thoughts?
Hi everyone, I wanted to share something new I’m thinking of developing for educators. While much of my work focuses on helping job seekers find and express their voice with clarity and confidence, this new program focuses on a different side of that journey — helping teachers unlock their students’ voices through thoughtful learning design. The idea is a 3-part remote workshop series called Game of Stories, centered on how storytelling, gamification, and intentional AI use can work together to create more meaningful and engaging learning experiences. The goal is to help educators design lessons where students don’t just complete tasks, but build identity alongside a stronger sense of progression in their learning. We’d explore how to: • use storytelling and narrative structure to help students express themselves more clearly • guide students in using AI without losing their own thinking or voice through percentage-based filters • combine tools like ChatGPT, Gamma, and Genially to create cohesive lessons rather than scattered activities • reintroduce joy and motivation through simple game-inspired learning design This is designed to be practical and reflective, giving educators ideas they can use immediately while also helping them think more intentionally about how students grow in confidence and communication over time. I’m currently gauging interest at the moment. If this sounds useful for you or educators in your network, feel free to comment or message me and let me know: • if you’d want to join • if you’d share it with other educators I still have to develop a structured pitch deck, but if you think this would be something teachers would find valuable (or if there's something you think I should add), send me a message!

Hey @Jade Arthur whenever I'm considering a new path or offer, the first thing I'll do is market research.. It's good that you're reaching out here, and maybe you can get some good insights from others whether or not this would be useful. Outside of this group, I'd be making a poll / post about it, and also reaching out to teachers in the DM's to gain their insights and see if they'd be interested. You mentioned this new program but then 3-workshop series. Would the program be delivered as 3 workshops?

@Jade Arthur yes absolutely take the feedback and run with it. You already know this, but the only thing I'd caution here is doing more research before building a course etc. The reason I say so, there's a huge TAM for this type of offer (total addressable market), but that doesn't always translate to easier to sell. We want to figure out things like: - if it's a painful problem for them - have they paid for help here before - what would they want to buy it again This saves you some time defining if there's scope to build something like this. I know there's a website called TpT I think (Teachers pay Teachers?) which could be good for a bit of competitor research to see if there's anything similar out there already. I know Robbie Kane has sold some courses, resources etc. so it's definitely doable, but he has a track-record helping teachers, lots of proof etc and a background in curriculum design. Not saying 'don't do this' but just a bit more planning can help you decide if it's a direction worth taking! Hope that helps.
Your LinkedIn profile and the new Algo
Hey guys, I came across this custom GPT to analyze your profile, check your positioning and overall message. It might be useful, especially because the new Algo prioritizes coherence (posts, comments, 1 clear message). Just follow the instructions, remember to expand the sections where you see "more" and get some personalized feedback: https://chatgpt.com/g/g-693a9c8c42a0819194e2499b49b8c86a-brew360-profile-classification

Very nice @Daniele Ponzo thanks for sharing. Will check it out? What did you find most useful when you used it?

@Daniele Ponzo I started the prompt but it asked me for a lot and I didn't have time so I'll go back to it again. I do feel it's gonna roast me 😂
A question about the tracker
Hi @Kevin Dowling. Do i create another tracker for client work? Or do I use the same one for both activities just make a division on it?

The tracker works best when it serves one purpose and not splitting them. For example, the one you have is around actions to find new clients (attraction). Whereas the client one is different as it's more focused on fulfilment work (delivery). If you need a way to organise how you deliver your work for clients, you can have track that in a separate one but I wonder is there a simpler alternative you could use. Like a weekly checklist, because the tracker we're using is daily. I don't know if you do enough daily re: client work that you'd need to keep track of all that?

@Flor Maria Cruz wow that's a lot for a day. If it helps to track what you're doing for the client or the time, even just for awareness so you can cut it down or create better boundaries. That is something worth doing! You've already identified content as something that can eat a lot of time easily so maybe a time constraint around that could help.
Weekly Planner + Feb Challenge
Hey all, We just wrapped Office Hours #20 and one thing that came up after our time-tracking activity was how overwhelmed and scattered we all get sometimes. I shared how I plan my days and weeks in a simple way, focused on the key areas that move you forward and show your progress. Attached in the pics is my planner and the Big 3 concept, as requested by @Rachel Williams so you can see how it looks. I'm going to create a Google Doc version (if GPT behaves), so you can have a printable version of this to stay on top of planning + executing consistently as you grow your business. I would be lost without this! Also mentioned in the call, we're going to do a gamified February challenge using my Notion tracking system so we can set a goal and actually track the actions each week (with bonus rewards for building streaks) If you missed the call, skip to the 25-minute mark in the replay to see how this works and what we're planning for February. The challenge will be designed around 1 Impact goal you set (built by GPT) and then we execute the tasks weekly so you actually do what you need to get results. It blends identity work with strategy so you step into the version of yourself who gets the results. As always, you can find the replay, session recap and actions for this call in the Master Doc. And I'll reach out again once I've built the digital version the planner. Have a good weekend 😃 ~Kev

@Daniele Ponzo if you need any help choosing which version to use, let me know. There's even a possibility of being able to dictate what you did and having a GPT fill it out daily for you, if that's something you'd prefer.

@Daniele Ponzo if you do dictation, insert the doc to GPT, not the PDF as it has issues with formatting that and takes too long. PDF with 2 pages is better for printing and writing. But honestly, whatever is fastest, do it. Don't get bogged down with the tech stuff, most important thing is to start planning and being more organised!
