Your LinkedIn profile and the new Algo
Hey guys, I came across this custom GPT to analyze your profile, check your positioning and overall message. It might be useful, especially because the new Algo prioritizes coherence (posts, comments, 1 clear message). Just follow the instructions, remember to expand the sections where you see "more" and get some personalized feedback: https://chatgpt.com/g/g-693a9c8c42a0819194e2499b49b8c86a-brew360-profile-classification

Weekly Planner + Feb Challenge
Hey all, We just wrapped Office Hours #20 and one thing that came up after our time-tracking activity was how overwhelmed and scattered we all get sometimes. I shared how I plan my days and weeks in a simple way, focused on the key areas that move you forward and show your progress. Attached in the pics is my planner and the Big 3 concept, as requested by @Rachel Williams so you can see how it looks. I'm going to create a Google Doc version (if GPT behaves), so you can have a printable version of this to stay on top of planning + executing consistently as you grow your business. I would be lost without this! Also mentioned in the call, we're going to do a gamified February challenge using my Notion tracking system so we can set a goal and actually track the actions each week (with bonus rewards for building streaks) If you missed the call, skip to the 25-minute mark in the replay to see how this works and what we're planning for February. The challenge will be designed around 1 Impact goal you set (built by GPT) and then we execute the tasks weekly so you actually do what you need to get results. It blends identity work with strategy so you step into the version of yourself who gets the results. As always, you can find the replay, session recap and actions for this call in the Master Doc. And I'll reach out again once I've built the digital version the planner. Have a good weekend 😃 ~Kev

@Kevin Dowling I like table formats... but also the dictation option sounds good!
How to Steal like an Artist: Pattern Recognition
Funny moment from yesterday's Office Hours. At the start of the call we were chatting about @Daniele Ponzo's son, Alessandro Liam. And I joked: I can call him AL. Then I reference that famous Paul Simon Song (da-dada-da) We didn’t watch anything on the call, we moved on. Today I was reviewing the transcript for content ideas. Then I was curious, so I pulled up the You Can Call Me Al music video. It’s basically, actor Chevy Chase performing the song like he’s the star. Paul Simon's pissed because he's being outshined... And it's funny because of the contrast. Then I recognised the pattern. George Ezra's song Listen to the Man (with Sir Ian McKellen) does the exact same thing, years later. Same comedic structure: - big personality co-star - dominates the video - artist looks fed up - tension = funny You immediately know what it's inspired by, but it doesn't feel like copying, because it's done tastefully. And there's the lesson for stealing like an artist... The difference between remixing + copying. The good kind of stealing: āœ… swipe the structure (the format, contrast, mechanics) āœ… then swap in your own language + POV + examples And the lazy kind: āŒ copy/paste someone’s words āŒ copy/paste someone’s offer page āŒ add nothing new and take credit for it We literally talked about this on the call. It happens more than people think. The skill that actually matters here is pattern recognition. Some creators sit down to be original and get stuck. Builders do this instead: - Spot the pattern (what repeats?) - Find the mechanism (humour, tension, etc.) - Remix it with your context (clients, niche, story, lessons) Then create in your style without polishing it into generic AI mush. That’s how you create content that feels new, and without becoming a copycat. Question for you: what’s something you’ve seen lately (post/video/email) where you loved the format, and could remix it for your own work this week?

January Update + Grant Guidance?
Hey everyone — happy New Year! šŸŽ‰ I wanted to share a little January update and say how grateful I am to be part of this community. A few interesting things happened over the holidays that genuinely surprised me. First… I had a LinkedIn post go unexpectedly viral.Over 300 reactions and 34,000+ impressions 🤯 It’s surprising the people it connected me with — folks I never would’ve crossed paths with otherwise. If you’re curious, here’s the link— it really seemed to resonate during the holidays. https://www.linkedin.com/posts/makethegradewithjade_makethegradewithjade-christmas-holiday-activity-7409593714521681920-dV0z?utm_medium=ios_app&rcm=ACoAACT-BWYBan-Zjd1lUT72_H5NkVP-VEgjC5A&utm_source=social_share_send&utm_campaign=copy_link I have this GPT to thank for the help: https://chatgpt.com/c/69598083-4944-832e-b676-0f900e1f995c I also have several calls lined up this week that could lead to opportunities (trying not to get ahead of myself, but cautiously optimistic). One of them is with a founder connected to a foreign language academy here in Tennessee. I pitched myself, showed value, created a slide deck, and now I’m having a real conversation for potential online consulting — and that feels like growth in itself. Another small but meaningful win: I met with a potential client who actively showed interest in working with me. That doesn’t happen often for me, so it meant a lot. They’re improving their English and want to move into gaming… which is very much my sweet spot. On the cohort side: my Maven program starts Monday. Only two people signed up, and I did lower the price, but I also asked for honest written and video testimonials if they find it valuable. It’s a start. I’ll use what I learn from this run to improve February, and I’ll likely try again in March (April will be lighter since I’m heading to North Carolina — a little gift I found under the tree this year šŸŽ„).

Clients Before Christmas Challenge šŸŽ…
Hey everyone! Next week, we're kicking off the final challenge for 2025: Clients before Christmas. It's been a big year and this is my favourite way to round it off (helping you win one last time before we break for the holidays) If you're an active member of MM, or you joined the Anti-MasterMind last month, this is free for you to join. I'll be posting all the setup details on Monday and we kick off Tuesday. If you're joining over the weekend and here for the CBC challenge, a big welcome to you šŸ‘‹ Feel free to introduce yourself to the community, let us know who you help, and what you'd love to achieve in the challenge. By doing this, you'll move to Level 2 and unlock more resources in the Classroom. And I'll also get a better sense of how best to support you through the challenge. Looking forward to the next 2 weeks. Let's make them the best Christmas gift you can give your business šŸ˜‰ I'll update you all Monday with the set-up. For now enjoy the weekend, get some rest and we'll make December a month to remember. ~Kev P.S. Drop a GIF below to show me where your energy's at this time of year. Let's see what we're working with šŸ˜‚
