Subscriptions (and How to Manage Them)
So it’s the time of year where I’m having to renew some subscriptions. I’ve bought many subscriptions that have helped me in various ways as a content creator, teacher, and coach, including Twee, YouTube Premium, and Genially. But as I’m struggling to make an income, I’ve chosen to focus on what I really need to create content and interact with clients. I’ve determined these will be my essential annual subscriptions moving forward: - Gamma – $180 - Canva – $120 - ChatGPT – $240 - Zoom Pro – $160 - Sellfy – $264 - Carrd – $20 - Calendly – $120 - Namecheap – $60 - Fathom – $180 - Kondo – $198 - Skool - $108 Total Subscriptions: $1,650 per year Monthly installments end up costing more in the long run, so I try to go annual when I can. This is really helpful for me because I know now what is necessary to keep making genuine progress. And I’ve set a financial boundary for myself. But with health insurance that costs over $400 a month, I still worry I won’t be able to make back my investments. I guess my question is when you see some progress, but not enough to make up what you’ve lost, how do you decide when it’s safe to keep going and when it’s time to call it quits? I’m not ready yet because I feel good things coming, especially when my Skool launches, but I’ve been hopeful for awhile and the concern is still in the back of my mind.
Help for positioning
Hi all! I created the FREEDOM method as my tool and my I help statement: I help small business owners transform in 90 days from busy managers to Life-First CEOs — with a profitable business and more time to be present for the moments that matter. Do you think the desire is clear or should it be dofferent like more family time. I struggle a bit with deciding on my target group. I would love to attract soon to be dads, freshly dads or men who want to start a family but are trapped in their business. Linkedin does not help me with that. Shall I narrow it down to men and small businesses / solopreneurs?

Any feed back appreciated Help from Kevin’s writing chat gpt tool I avoid my bank account, the same way I avoid cleaning. My motivation for the day: If I’m in a low-energy state → I ignore the mess 🌀 Mid-energy → I’ll clear a corner 🌀 High-energy → I might clean for an hour 🌀 Burnout → I’m too overwhelmed to start again Every time I clean, it’s a cycle: I wait until it’s too much→ I waste time cleaning instead of doing what matters promise I’ll change but I don’t 💡 Then I realized I am the same with money→ I forget what goes into my account→ I ignore my spending→ I don’t track, don’t check and get surprised when I’m broke That mess? It’s not just in my room. It’s in my bank account. It’s in my habits. It's my motivation. So here’s my experiment 👇 ✅ 1 point for journaling or reflecting ✅ 1 point for one small job done ✅ 1 point: Can I access my bank account 🏆 Reward: TV or hobbies without guilt, or the clutter The goal: Less stress☀️ More clarity☀️ A system I can actually stick to This is the beginning of my transformation. Not perfect. Just honest. And that’s where change begins. 💬 What’s your version of the “messy room”?Let’s talk about it 👇
4 Calls This Week!
OMG, this has never happened before. At most, I got 1 call if I was lucky a certain week. I'm already like, "This is never going to happen again!"😄 Seriously, I am happy to see that I've gotten this far; I'm just nervous. Any advice dealing with the emotional struggle of "Is this the best it's going to get?"

Cohort Advice
These moments are bound to come up in this process of owning a business, but only 2 people showed up to my free beta cohort today (we're on week 4) and I don't have anyone signed up for the next one. I've created posts based on transcripts from each session so people can see the value, been helping people in the beta with their content, and even created rewards for inspiration and guidance. It's worth $297, but I'm getting the feeling no matter what I do, people won't see the value in it. Even if I restructure it or better describe the transformation (which I'm sure will be a recommendation here in the community.) If no one signs up for the cohort, what should I do? I'm running out of ideas now. I feel like I have everything set up, but I can't knock the pins down. And if I can't do that, I don't know how I'm going to generate an income and make the impact I was designed to make with my target audience. I am planning a free workshop for July 5th on the topic "Finding Joy in the Job Search", about dealing with job search challenges like ghosting and financial survival, in the hopes of getting sign ups for July 12th, but I'm getting tired. And I know my parents are concerned that I won't be able to make enough money doing what I'm doing. Quiet desperation often leads to meaningful progress. That being said, I wanted to be a little louder this time and see if anyone has some thoughts managing low/no signups.
