Had a visiting pastor preach for us tonight. The weather is extremely warm so I opted to forgo the jacket tonight. I did wear a vest and and a full Windsor knot in my tie, however, to bring the formality up just a bit. I almost never wear the Windsor knot, it's typically very bulbous and refuses to make a nice dimple. Worked well for me tonight, for some reason. I would have never dreamed I would begin doing my own alterations! But my wife had a new sewing machine she had never used, my sister sews and is a great teacher and I have begun watching videos on YouTube. I picked up five various cheap shirts from our local thrift shop to practice on. I won’t even begin to think of working on one of my good shirts until I have developed some decent skills. I’m sure looking forward to making my clothes fit perfectly. Good times at the sewing machine!

I believe it was last year or 2023 that I stumbled on a mens skin care company called Teige Hanley and really enjoyed the kit because it didn't leave me feeling oily like most other lotions or moisturizers do. I'll likely reorder from them as I have in the past but wanted to see if there are any other recommended brands anyone in the RMRS community have used? Must no leave an oily feeling!
