What's your take on Make/Zapier/N8N vs Code?
Hey guys, I’ve been seeing a trend lately. More and more people are moving away from tools like Make, Zapier, and N8N and switching to code. But I wouldn't do that so fast... And it's because of two reasons: 1. My clients aren't technical, and they never will be. If their business grows, they hire developers. But if things slow down, those developers are gone. And when it slows done, they’re stuck. Their entire system depends on code they don’t understand and cannot change. So I actually think not using code is in the best interest of my client. And I rather build something they could manage (if they invest the time to learn) if shit hits the fan. (This also builds trust with clients btw, so they know you think in their best interest) 2. Make/Zapier/n8n is way faster to fix When something breaks… Make, Zapier, or N8N is way faster to fix. You can fix it fast. With code, it’s different. You need to dig into the code, make changes, test it, deploy it again. That takes time. So for me, it’s simple. I optimize for: - Simplicity - Speed - Control for the client Curious what you think 👇 What do you prefer and why?

@Bryan Teodoro Yes exactly! But for most of my clients we are more focused on Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp

Stop using your website's AI Chat Agent as a glorified FAQ page.
90% of businesses slap a widget on their site that says, “Hi 👋 How can I help you?” and call it an AI integration. That is completely surface-level. A properly architected chat agent isn't just a support bot—it is your frontline Triage Layer. Instead of just having polite conversations, a structured agent should execute these micro-workflows: 🎯 Qualify Intent: Ask the hard questions (budget, timeline) before ever dropping a calendar link. 🛡️ Handle Objections: Pre-frame the prospect by answering your top 5 sales objections instantly. 🗂️ Extract Variables: Collect key project details and push them directly into your CRM's custom fields. 🔄 Trigger Workflows: Fire webhooks to route qualified leads to the sales team and unqualified leads to a nurture sequence. The real ROI of a chat agent isn't "conversation." It is Qualification + Automation. For agencies and service businesses, this means zero calendar clutter, fewer low-quality calls, and highly prepared prospects. Question for the operators here: Is your chat widget just a passive "support" tool, or have you integrated it as an active part of your sales infrastructure? Let’s discuss!

@Muhammad Fahad Shahriar I don't agree. The real ROI of a chat agent is never Qualification + Automation. It's either: - More qualified leads - More sales - Less costs (or less human workload -> also less costs)

@Muhammad Fahad Shahriar exactly! Always outcome first
Why Do Simple Automation Tools Get More Users Than Advanced Ones?
Over the past months I have been building several automation Actors on the Apify platform. I created actors for things like Google Maps lead scraping, competitor monitoring, and automation pipelines. Technically they work well, but I noticed something interesting: simple tools often get many users while more advanced tools struggle to gain traction. I was honestly expecting more support from the community, especially in testing and sharing tools built to help automation workflows. My goal is to build useful tools that make automation and data collection easier for everyone. If anyone here is interested in testing the tools, sharing feedback, or helping spread them, I would really appreciate the support.

@Hayder Al-Khalissi I am not sure that's the main reason... I think it also has to do with the fact that many people just come for the tutorials and there could be a better onboarding experience (where they learn new people to comment, DM and post in the community)

@Emmanuel Brands Looks great! But why not go with a simple tool for this (like Chatbase) instead of building it in n8n?
