Experiencing Burnout?
“You will burn and you will burn out; you will be healed and come back again.” – Fyodor Dostoevsky Let’s talk about burnout. Burnout along this journey is a very real thing, and if I had to guess, we’ve all experienced it at some point. Burnout can often be traced back to undereating and/or over-exercising. It seems clear as to why burnout happens when one (or both) of these things is at play. But what if you experience burnout and neither of these is at play? What if your nutrition is sufficient? What if you’re not over-exercising? What’s the reason you find yourself exhausted and maybe even resentful when everything seems to be on point regarding your daily nutrition and fitness habits? Well, friends. The first thing to know is that burnout along this journey can still happen—even when you’re seemingly doing everything right, and we’re going to talk about it this week! 💯 If this topic interests you, I encourage you to show up every day this week to learn and engage with our group! It’s going to be a great week as we discuss a topic that isn’t talked about enough. Not only that, I’m going to give you some tips on how to overcome seasons of burnout! Here’s to a great week, friends! 🔥 TAKING ACTION: ✅ Have you ever experienced burnout even when doing everything right? How did you overcome the trial?

But God….
Last Friday, I went I for a biopsy on my left breast. I just received a call that there is no cancer!!! God is so good and I’m just so thankful that I found Aleiah and this community when I did….God is an on-time God. I don’t know if anyone can top this birthday gift today. ❤️
Friday Wins 🎉
It’s Friday, and you know what that means! It’s time to celebrate your weekly wins! 🎉 We’ve had a big week and have challenged ourselves both mentally and physically, but today is a day to rest and celebrate. Friends, if you’re skipping these steps (resting and celebrating), you’re doing yourselves a huge disservice. Both rest and celebration are key pieces to the overall puzzle. 🧩 Speaking of celebrating, I don’t want you to simply celebrate in the comments below and forget about it. I want you to remind yourself of your weekly win throughout the day! Changing your thought patterns takes repetition; therefore, being mindful of your wins frequently and consistently is the way to change your brain. 💯 If you’re not used to thinking about your weekly wins consistently, I encourage you to remind yourself throughout the day. Write a reminder on a post-it and put it in a place where you’ll see it often. Set an alarm on your phone. Every time you’re reminded, stop for 10 seconds and reflect on your wins. Even better, thank yourself for showing up. If you want to change your life, you must first change your thoughts. Start today. ❤️ TAKING ACTION: - Share your weekly win below, and let’s celebrate! 🎉 - Show up tomorrow as we wrap up our conversation about adrenal health! - Don’t forget to share your nutrition today. Let’s start the weekend off with a BANG!

Balancing Adrenal Function
So far this month, we’ve already discussed why summer is a great time to focus on blood sugar, stress, and inflammation. In case you didn’t catch it yesterday, your adrenal glands play a role in all of these things. This is exactly why we also want to focus on adrenal health during the summer! 💯 Adrenal fatigue is a controversial term used to describe a collection of nonspecific symptoms, including fatigue, sleep problems, and weight gain, and is believed to be brought on by stress. Regardless of the controversy, it’s widely known that your adrenals play a big role in the production of your cortisol (stress) hormone, as well as other important hormones; therefore, it only makes sense that having healthy adrenals is something we should all strive for. It’s important to note that you shouldn’t try to self-diagnose when it comes to adrenal dysfunction, fatigue, or anything else, for that matter. Seeking a trusted medical expert is always your best bet. Either way, embracing habits that support not only your adrenal health but also your overall health is never a bad idea. Just sayin’. 😉 7 Natural Remedies for Balancing Adrenal Function | Infusion Health Telemedicine Clinic TAKING ACTION: ✅ What is one thing you’re going to do today that will contribute to a healthier you? ✅ Tomorrow is our optional 24-hour fast! My goal for today was to complete my gratitude journal entry and read my Bible outdoors this morning instead of inside. Hit my goal already! 😊
Making Yogurt
Has anyone ventured down the path of making your own yogurt? I have found some recipes online for dairy free Greek yogurt and was curious if anyone had a recipe that they would recommend?
