We’ve had a big week and have challenged ourselves both mentally and physically, but today is a day to rest and celebrate. Friends, if you’re skipping these steps (resting and celebrating), you’re doing yourselves a huge disservice. Both rest and celebration are key pieces to the overall puzzle. 🧩
Speaking of celebrating, I don’t want you to simply celebrate in the comments below and forget about it. I want you to remind yourself of your weekly win throughout the day! Changing your thought patterns takes repetition; therefore, being mindful of your wins frequently and consistently is the way to change your brain. 💯
If you’re not used to thinking about your weekly wins consistently, I encourage you to remind yourself throughout the day. Write a reminder on a post-it and put it in a place where you’ll see it often. Set an alarm on your phone. Every time you’re reminded, stop for 10 seconds and reflect on your wins. Even better, thank yourself for showing up.
