Cold Email Newbie Seeking Confirmation :)
Hey gang! Being new to cold email, I'm super cautious about messing something up. My new emails are still in the warm-up phase now, haven't sent anything yet. There's a TON of great content being provided to me, but some questions have come up. For those 'in the know', can you help me understand a few things? ... Daily Sending Volume Per Mailbox (Cold Emails): The ā€˜Cold Email Machine Next Steps’ Notion specifies that I should send no more than 30 emails per day (15 warm, 15 cold) …. If all the emails I have are cold, then, my maximum when starting is to work up to only 15 emails per day, per email account, correct? The ā€˜Cold Email Best Practices’ Notion highlights that "Outlook: No more than 10 emails per inbox per day" while "Gmail: No more than 30 emails per inbox per day". … Is the 30 emails per day for each email provider? Use of SpinTax: The ā€˜Cold Email Machine Next Steps’ Notion suggests the use SpinTax, but the ā€˜Cold Email Copywriting’ video in the Insider Method mini course says SpinTax is "Not Recommended" because "it does not help deliverability and can even hurt results if inferior words are used" (plus there's no way to track the data). So, when would it be good to use SpinTax? Inclusion of Unsubscribe Links in Emails: One of the Skool videos says to ā€œfollow the lawā€ and discusses the CAN-SPAM Act … indicating a need for an unsubscribe link in the signature line.Ā But, in the ā€˜Cold Email Best Practices’ Notion, it says the current recommendation is "Do not use one-click unsubscribe links". Instead, a manual, conversational opt-out method is recommended for compliance. What is the current, most effective process for inboxing? Recommended Domain Age Before Sending Cold Emails: The ā€˜Cold Email Machine Next Steps’ Notion states to warm my new emails for "14-days (30 is best)". However, in the ā€˜Cold Email Best Practices’ Notion, it’s recommended to warm for 3 months before sending to Outlook addresses. Should I just remove those emails from my lead list to send at a later time??

I like the LGJ Jam idea because it makes me think of musicians coming together for a Jam Session. Since LGJ uses different channels for lead generation, they fit together for 'song'.

@Maria Lupita No. It was just the first reference that popped into my head šŸ˜‚
Just stumbled upon a marketing revelation I had to share...
Ever wonder why 90% of your website visitors vanish without a trace? I did too. So I conducted an experiment: I let artificial intelligence run my remarketing campaigns. The results? My conversion rate jumped 258%. Here's what fascinated me most—this system identified visitors and gathered their contact details without them filling out a single form. It even sorted leads by income and net worth, allowing me to focus on high-value prospects. The secret weapon was a visitor identification tool that collected emails, phone numbers, and demographic data automatically. When combined with the right automation platform, it created a remarketing machine that worked while I slept. What's your biggest challenge with converting website visitors? Mine was always capturing those "just browsing" folks who weren't ready to commit. If you're curious about how this setup works, I've documented my entire process in a video that walks through the workflow step by step.

Wow! I love it. Fantastic workflow. Why did you choose Make vs other workflow tools? ... was integration options the deciding factor?

🄶 Cold Email is Dead… Unless You Do This.
Most people are sending cold emails that die in the inbox. Today, @Andrew Naegele showed us why—and the three tiny shifts that completely flipped the game. You don’t have a ā€œcold emailā€ problem. You have a connection problem. And if your emails aren’t getting opened, read, or replied to—it’s not because people are mean. It’s because you’re blending in. Today on our Insider Zoom, @Andrew Naegele dropped cold email clarity that hit different. Here are the 3 shifts that can change everything about your outreach: 1ļøāƒ£ Don’t Build a Sequence… Until You’ve Mastered a Single Shot Forget the funnel of doom. Start with ONE email. One clear offer. One real outcome. Because every extra step in your sequence? āž”ļø Means fewer opens. Fewer clicks. Less clarity. You don’t need more emails. You need more resonance. 2ļøāƒ£ Want the Inbox? Look Like a Human, Not a Hustler No HTML. No trackers. No signature banners. Just plain text. Like a real person would send. šŸ“¬ Because the algorithm doesn’t care about your font—it cares about your authenticity. 3ļøāƒ£ Flip the Name Game: Earn Attention Without Begging for It ā€œ{FirstName}, quick questionā€¦ā€ = delete. But ending your first line with their name? Now that feels like a message, not a mass blast. It lands softer… and sticks deeper. But Andrew’s biggest truth bomb? šŸš€ ā€œThe only bad cold email is the one you never send.ā€ Let that hit. So here’s the real question… šŸ” Did you send a cold email this week? šŸ™Œ Drop a YES below if you’re in motion. šŸ¤” Still tweaking? Drop your #1 hang-up --> we’ll crack it together. SKOOL isn’t just community --> it’s your test lab. No perfection. No ego. Just real reps, real results. You in? Let’s hit send. šŸ”„

Great tips, Ian. Thank you for sharing. The new emails are in warm-up, so I'm working on tweaking the copy. I'm stuck on personalization - what's the "sweet spot" to highlighting that I'm paying attention to my lead's message vs coming off as creepy stalker? Also, what's the best way to enrich the list provided to me by Trusted Leads to include a 'personalization' column and collect that data at scale?

Implementing new outbound systems. āœ…Targeted niche āœ… Personalised message āœ… Proposed a specific outcome that needed solving āœ… Soft call to action And that’s it. Don’t overthink the process. Keep refining. Keep tweaking. It only takes one winning script to change the trajectory of your business. Keep working.
