Why You Feel Everything (And Why That Means You’re Needed)
Have you had days like this? I know I have! You walk into a café and within seconds, you feel something's off. The barista is having a bad day. Customers are pretending to be fine when they're not. The air itself feels heavy. You don't need anyone to tell you. You just know. You try to do some shopping but the the streets are crowded. The bustling energy is like a magnetic storm to your senses. And then you go home, exhausted, wondering if you're imagining things. Wondering why everyone else seems so... unaffected. Why you carry the weight of …what? Others’ moods? Their unspoken words? Their tension? You've been told to "toughen up”. To "not take things personally”. To "stop being so dramatic”. But those people don't understand. They imply you’re malfunctioning. There's nothing wrong with you. You're just calibrated differently. Most people move through the world with strong filters. They hear words and move on. Let’s be honest, our culture seems to demand that. You hear words and feel what’s underneath them—the loneliness, the hope, the weariness, the love that never gets spoken. They are processing information — you ⚡️experience⚡️ it. From today, let’s stop seeing this as a weakness. After all: • You're the one who remembers the small details that others instantly forget. • You're the one who notices when someone's smile doesn't reach their eyes; or the gleam when they glance at someone, that they thought was a secret. • You're the friend people tell, when they're falling apart, because you’re not going to act all surprised. You already knew. Far from being a freak accident, this is the result of a nervous system that's tuned to a higher resolution. Hey, I know, INFPs aren’t the only ones in the world who sometimes feel these things. But ours is often full-on, and in combination with our other traits, it brings a particular set of challenges. I've created a free, private online community for INFPs — like me — who feel so much, absorbing the world's emotions like a sponge.

@Vasi Smith Thank you Vasi! I'd say definitely, that comes with being an INFP. I think all introverts need that to a certain extent, but also having intuition, feeling and perceiving all in one bundle is kind of supercharged emotional empathy. I didn't know about relaxation practices when I was young, but I often craved solitude and spent hours roaming about the moors where I lived. Which I guess was also relaxing. I'll have to check out Age Like a Girl ... sounds interesting : )
Fancy a little focus? 🙎🏻‍♂️🙍🏽‍♀️🙇🏾
Here's where I am right now, spring snow outside my window. ⬇️ Things change day by day, don't they? And it's fine. We're here for it. Do you tell yourself that life interferes? Or do you own your intention? We can't control the weather, but we can choose one priority and work on it calmly for 25 minutes. I run a virtual room called 25 & 25 Calm Coworking. We meet, state our single intention, and focus on it quiety for 25 minutes, stretch, drink water, and go back to it for another 25 minutes and then check in before going on with our day. I'm thinking of offering it on Skool. Does this interest you?

It's an interesting idea, doing this together. I've been trying a similar thing just with a timer set on my phone. Sometimes I'm so absorbed, I set up the timer and forget to press 'play'! It's definitely a great way to be focused for short sprints and then allow the body to recover in between.
The Myth of the "Too Quiet" Person: Why the World Needs Your Silence
You know the feeling. I know it too. You walk into a room full of people, and almost instantly, the noise feels like a physical weight. The small talk, the loud laughter, the constant energy—it drains you. You find yourself shrinking internally, wishing you could just disappear. Maybe you manage a smile, while a voice inside starts whispering: "What's the quickest way out of here?” We live in a world that worships volume. We are taught that the loudest voice wins, that extroversion is the default setting for success, and that if you aren't constantly "on," you aren't contributing. Actually, that’s just not true. Your silence is a superpower. 🦉 While others are busy talking AT the world, you are listening TO it. You notice the shift in tone before anyone else speaks. You see the unspoken tension in a room. You feel the emotions of others as if they were your own. Some might call it "oversensitivity”. Instead, think of it as a high-resolution way of experiencing reality that most people don’t know they lack. History is filled with quiet ones who made big ripples. The artists who painted the masterpieces in solitude. The writers who gave voice to the human condition from their hideouts. The healers who understood pain because they knew it intimately. No need for them to be the loudest in the room. They won by being the deepest. Come share your quiet with others who hold libraries of whispered thoughts, filled with stories waiting to be heard. 📒📖📚 I’m an INFP, learning to accept and value myself, as I naturally am. I’ve opened a free, private, online community specifically for the dreamers, the empaths, the deep perceivers who feel everything. A sanctuary for INFPs to connect, share and grow in the company of kindred spirits. Here, we don’t have to explain why we need alone time to recharge. Our empathy is seen as a gift, not a weakness. Feel free to just be. And if you sometimes feel like sharing little pieces of your story, let’s have them. Every one will be treasured - post, comment, reply or just a ‘like’. Because I know INFPs don’t want to be quiet all the time. It totally depends on who we’re with, and how we feel.

Ever wonder how you can let people know about your Skool community? Feel like you have so much to offer but don't know how to get people involved? Wish there was somewhere you were actually allowed to promote yourself and talk about your offer? Look no further! The Skool Classifieds are the place where you are not only allowed to promote yourself, but you are actually encouraged to do so! Like the Classifieds section of your local newspaper or the Community Message Board at the gym, this is the place to let people know what you do and what you offer. Here's how it works: 1. Invite other Skoolers you know to join the group using your invite link. The more people join, the more people there are to promote to! 2. You can post once a day only. This is to keep the group from getting spammy. If it's spammy, people won't read and you won't get noticed. Post as many days in a row as you want, but please do not post the same thing day after day - mix it up! 3. Make sure you add your post to the appropriate group/heading. Please see below for a description of what each group is for. If you don't see a group that is appropriate, message me. 4. Self-Promotion is what this group is all about, but please do not DM people with your offers. You will be removed from the group for doing this. 5. Introduce yourself in this thread, and then scroll up and find someone you have something in common with. Reach out. There are some really amazing people here! 😉 This is a place for us to support each other for our mutual benefit. Hate speech, offensive language, or general negativity will be deleted, and you will be removed from the group. *Please check out this post for more tips on how to get great results from your posts. And also this post by one of our own community members who has had great success growing his group through the CLASSIFIEDS. To learn How to Make Your Classifeds' Posts Work Harder for You, check out this masterclass by one of our moderators, @Faith Adebayo

I knew nothing about Skool before I joined a group in December. The platform as a whole feels like home now. I love how calm it is generally (although there are lively spaces and they're great too). I love that there's no 'general feed' to distract us. We're either in a group we've chosen or we're exploring in Discover and that's it. It didn't take me long to start imagining possibilities for starting a group myself! Now I have a fledgling group for INFPs - Introverted-Intuitive-Feeling-Prospecting types from the Myers-Briggs / 16 personalities system. I've been rearranging the furniture in my room a lot ... but I'm almost ready to begin inviting people in earnest. Ha ha ... almost!
