Side quest hyperfocuses
I have a main hyperfocus which gets most of my love and affection. But then I have mini side quest ones and it got me thinking. Do any of you have similar? Drums first, followed by history and then kickboxing 🤣 What does that look like for you?

I would think that these are just your healthy hobbies and interests. My main focus is fitness, and then motorcycles and snowboarding. I get more worried when people don't focus on any interests.

3 of my 4 kids were diagnosed, and I just focused on helping them. I only started focusing on me this last year. I feel like a lot of it was because a lot of people say they have ADHD and use it as an excuse, even if they don't have it and what they are complaining about aren't actually symptoms of ADHD, they're just lazy. LOL So I just didn't want to sound like that if I opened up to anyone about it.
ADHD hitting harder lately?
If your ADHD’s been feeling heavier lately — more fog, more burnout, more “why can’t I keep up anymore?” — you’re not making it up. Your brain chemistry’s shifting. Dopamine drops. Hormones shift. Sh*t hits different in your 30s and 40s. I broke it down in this video if you wanna watch: https://youtube.com/shorts/vQqFNJqyKGU?si=krsgvS4knKiPb75U Also — if you’re tired of spinning in circles, I built a few plans that actually work for brains like ours. No pressure. But if you’re ready, they’re here: https://www.skool.com/adamtristan/classroom/d4b1924e?md=b9e5c4b40f5f4e788ee1198c45dce6a6 Drop a comment if you’ve felt this too — I’m building a whole new module around it.

Hormones are fucking stupid!!! 🤣 I had a full hysterectomy about 15 months ago, and this has been the worst I've felt my ADHD in my life. I only recently started on Adderall this year since it got so out of hand with all of my hormonal shifts.

Great video, thank you!!! I actually watched this a few days ago, got distracted, and forgot to respond. LOL Here are my 3: 1) Struggling to sit down to work or just go to bed at night. Getting in bed at night is super hard! I fall asleep really fast, but just getting myself to end my day is hard. But that's also when I get super anxious too. 2) I am SOOOOO guilty of Interrupting people mid-thought, that I have to be very intentional about listening and not just waiting the speak. I've been working on asking people to send me emails or texts when it comes to really important things, or I'll totally forget what they said if it's a lot. 3) My mind goes a million miles per hour, so I'm really focused on bigger goals that I forget the basic things. For this one, I switched back to a plain old simple notebook to carry around with me that every topic gets it's own page because I need everything right in front of me and I can write in each topic as my thoughts go to them, or I'll just forget.
This or That Tuesday — Morning Hustler or Late Night Legend?
Alright ADHD fam, quick gut check… When do you actually feel alive and productive? Be honest—don’t say 5am just because some podcast told you to. Drop your vibe below: A. Early bird — I’m weirdly locked in before the world wakes up B. Night owl — I don’t hit flow state until everyone else is asleep C. Neither — I’m tired and caffeine is holding me together ADHD brains are wild like that—some of us thrive at sunrise, others hit peak focus at midnight. What time of day do you feel mentally sharp? Let’s see where the group’s at.

I have energy between 5am-3pm....it's all downhill after that unless I'm doing something physical, like teaching a fitness class or something. If I could go to bed at 5pm, I totally would! I don't even want to eat after 2-3pm. I'm going to be great at retirement!
