New year, new you? + (Please Vote)
The start of the new is traditionally a time when most of us jump into new habits to seek better for ourselves. But why wait in the first place? 🤔 Isnt health something we should focus on year round, not just when the clock hist 00:00 at the 1st of January? Its exactly this mindset that often keeps us stuck. Instead of understanding health and wellbeing are a long-term and infinite game. "you won't wake up one day and suddenly win at health" 🤯 No, it's a consistent effort to keep and stay healthy. So lets 2025 not be another year where good intentions fade quicker than the snow that falls nowadays. But create daily focus on what matters most to you. Starting with 1 simple habit that helps you feel like your best self/ 👉Not sure where to start? Take the wheel of life exercise to identify the area of your life that needs the most attention. Also to keep you accountable and have more options to join the community call, I will be hosting 2, 30minutes call a week from next week onwards. Please let me know your best availability or select one option in the polls. With that being said I wish everyone a powerful start of the new year. That feels aligned with the person you want to become. Making space for you biggest desires to come true 🙌 PS. lastly to kick of your health journey of 2025 the best way. I created 2 new resources in the nutrition classroom. Go check them out! A printable grocery list with pictures (handy for shopping with the kids as well) and a vitamin and mineral cheat sheet. To easily get your most important nutrients in.

Monday or Tuesday 20:30 works best for me.
How to make it even easier?
👉I Need your help I have been talking a lot about how the principles of losing weight and getting in shape are SIMPLE. Eat more whole foods, strength-training 3 to 4x a week, and walk often, and you will see changes💪 😵However, what makes it difficult is: - Getting started - Changing your believes - Staying consistent - Dealing with setbacks and stressful moments 🏁Now the question is how can I make this as easy as possible for you? - What removes the friction for you to get started - What helps you stay consistent - What resources or tools do you possibly miss or are unclear - Any other feedback that helps you take action and get the most out of this community is much appreciated! thank you all in advance for contributing to making this community a success 🙌

For me the biggest problem is: strength-training 3 to 4x a week I've started that multiple times last couple of years. But it's difficult to stay consistent. Not because of will power, but because: - Illness -> sometimes you get ill, and don't have energy for a few days and the weeks around it - Busy/full agenda -> some weeks I'm swamped, and don't have the time, energy or rest in my head for doing exercises - strength training is heavy! -> Sounds ridiculous, but when I started with strength training, everything is fun, new and with every success I'm very proud. But after a couple of weeks, I'm adding more and more weight on my dumbbells, what makes it harder to do the exercises. And the resistance to do them grows. An easy solution is probably not adding weight too soon. But then it's too easy. I also have to deal with better/stronger weeks, and weaker and low-energy weeks. Having 3 young children doesn't help in this at al 😅 So if you have a solution to grow muscles quickly, without being/getting it too heavy, I'm all in 🙃
