ā€œThis challenge is too strictā€ - not for the CYC 🐬
šŸ’„ ā€œThis Challenge is too strict… too militant… too much discipline.ā€ - victimhood & addicts 🐬 The truth is, we’ve already been strict. We’ve already been disciplined. We’ve already been militant.. just in the wrong direction. Think about it: šŸ¬ Strict with sugar : sweetness in the morning, desserts at night. šŸŗ Disciplined with liquor : weekend drinks never skipped. 🌿 Loyal to weed : premeal & bedtime ritual, like it’s scripture. šŸ“± Militant with screens : scroll after scroll, like it’s a second job. 🚬 Nicotine on cue : stress hits, and so does the lighter or vape. ā˜• Caffeine clockwork : not a day missed sometimes twice. āš ļø The problem isn’t that we can’t commit, it’s that we’ve been committed to our cravings. 🧠 Science proves it: sugar, nicotine, alcohol, and screens activate dopamine pathways the same way hard drugs do. That means we’ve already been living with militant discipline but toward habits that drain our energy, gut health, and focus. šŸ”„ The Choose Yourself Challenge (Sept 15th) isn’t strict. It’s a reset. It’s proof that the same loyalty we’ve been giving to our vices can be flipped into discipline for our purpose. And let’s be real …addiction loves to dress itself in logic: 🚬 ā€œNicotine helps me focus.ā€ ā˜• ā€œCoffee helps me digest.ā€ 🌿 ā€œWeed helps me sleep.ā€ šŸÆ ā€œHoney is natural, so it’s good for me.ā€ Sounds reasonable… but the science doesn’t lie: 🚬 Nicotine spikes cortisol and damages blood vessels. ā˜• Excess coffee wrecks our sleep cycles and depletes magnesium. 🌿 Weed blocks REM sleep — the deepest restoration our brain needs. šŸÆ Honey spikes blood sugar almost instantly, just like table sugar. We don’t deny these things do something.. we deny that they’re necessary for peace, purpose, or performance. Out bodies, our minds, and our spirits are designed to function better without them. 🐬 Starting Sept 15th: 30 days. No vices! The real question isn’t ā€œCan we commit?ā€ The question is: ā€œWhat are we already committed to and is it building us or breaking us?ā€

Money Talk - Flowing and Growing
šŸ’ I grew up watching my mom work herself into exhaustion, clocking hours that would break most people… and still, we were broke. I carried that picture with me: work harder, get less. Years later, I found myself underpaid by brands that were extracting my value while feeding me scraps. I believed I was worth more, but my actions and my subconscious programming kept me in the same loop. That’s the poverty mindset. And the scariest part? Most of us don’t even know we have it. I didn’t know until I read the following books: 🌟secrets of a millionaire mind 🌟the psychology of money šŸ“‰ Poverty mindset whispers: šŸ’„Money is scarce. šŸ’„Wealthy people are greedy. šŸ’„If I make more, someone else has less. šŸ’„I can’t charge that much, I’ll lose them. šŸ’„finding a way to get our nervous system back to our comfort zone of being broke šŸ“ˆ Wealth mindset answers: āœ…Money is abundant energy. āœ…Wealthy people with integrity create opportunities. āœ…When I grow, I create space for others to grow. āœ…The more value I provide, the more fair exchange I deserve. T. Harv Eker said it best in Secrets of the Millionaire Mind: ā€œYour income can only grow to the extent that you do.ā€ If your internal thermostat is set to survival, you’ll find ways to self-sabotage whenever overflow shows up. The shift is not just about numbers.. it’s about rewiring belief. Your bank account will always tell the truth about your mindset. ✨ Innercise Reflections : 1. Do you feel guilty when you earn more than the people around you? 2. When money comes in, do you look for ways to protect it or do you unconsciously look for ways to spend it? 3. If money mirrored your self-worth, what story would it tell? What is one spending habit you will change for the remainder of the year? ā¬‡ļø Money doesn’t change who you are. It magnifies it. Thermostat Thursday let’s get it! 🫔🐬 Hakeem

🐬CYC meeting recap (4/14)
🌟The Foundation isn’t about having it all figured out—it’s about finally getting honest about what’s holding it all together… or what’s not. 🌟When your life feels unstable, scattered, or like you’re always ā€œstarting over,ā€ it’s usually not a motivation problem—it’s a structure problem. Growth doesn’t stick without something solid to stand on. That’s why we emphasize building from the inside out: with daily systems, intentional choices, and consistent accountability that supports who you say you want to be. Because when your foundation is rooted, your life doesn’t shake every time your mood does. The foundation isn’t glamorous. But it’s what gives your future somewhere to land. Foudation structure: - Nighttime Routine: Set yourself up for success by unwinding intentionally—no screens, no toxins, just preparation for restful sleep. - Sleep: Prioritize high-quality rest. Your body and mind can’t function at full capacity without it. - Morning Routine: Begin your day with intention—no screens, just clarity. Do one thing to activate the mind, body and spirit: - 🧠Mind : meditate, journal, read - šŸ’ŖšŸ¾Body : stretch, exercise, breath work - šŸ’•Spirit : gratitude, prayer , spiritual material 5 Innercise prompts : 5 pillars of growth 1. Trigger Awareness āž”ļø Identify a recent trigger point and reflect on what it’s trying to teach you. 2. Environment Audit āž”ļø Evaluate one area of your environment (people, habits, or spaces) and make one intentional change. 3. Foundation Building āž”ļø Create a simple routine to support your day—morning or evening, your choice. 4. Self-Investment āž”ļø Commit to one investment in yourself this month—be it time, energy, or resources. 5. Contribution Plan āž”ļø Write down one way you can share your gift with others. See yall next Monday at 7PM EST! Gratitude - Keem šŸ’ŖšŸ¾šŸ¬ Replay: https://zoom.us/rec/share/bs85vOKMrkTaPqqFh9OwANTT3rXtPNuXEA_AecaQXn99JpVy3giLp9-jldPTYjM5.Szkks7cEVuOLpESX

🐬 CYC RECAP —Discomfort, Identity & Embodiment (5/6)
šŸ”„ Today’s session was a reminder that healing doesn’t always feel holy. Sometimes it feels like disconnection, like discomfort, like losing what once defined us… and that’s exactly where the deeper connection begins. 🧠 We opened with the foundation: Choose Yourself Philosophy - Message – You are not broken. You’ve just been programmed. - Mindset – Me versus me… plus my Creator. - Movement – Me and you… in community, choosing truth and accountability. - Mission – A global uprising of authentic, soul-led humans remembering who they are and reclaiming what they’ve always had: choice. ✨Use the message the develop your mindset to strengthen the movement and contribute your authenticity to the mission HUGE THANK YOU to our special guest, Alana Joy, who dropped wisdom on embracing the discomfort of disconnection — how solitude can be a sacred teacher when you let silence speak louder than society. Isolation = Elevation. šŸŒ€ Disconnecting from false identities is like rebooting a glitched computer. The system may freeze. The screen might go black. But that reboot? It’s a return to factory settings… to truth. The soul doesn’t always speak in language. Sometimes it whispers through your nervous system. 🧬 Your body can detect danger (or safety) in 0.2 seconds — before your brain even processes it.That means your body knows when a title, environment, or relationship is no longer aligned… even when your ego still wants to stay. āš–ļø We then asked: Who are you... really? Are you embodying your labels, or hiding behind them? We did an embodiment exercise where each of us listed identity titles, traits or beliefs and ranked them by priority, then rearranged them to notice what we felt. Some of us felt tension. Some joy. Some clarity. Because the truth is: Your alignment isn’t just mental—it’s somatic. šŸŽ Many of us realized we’ve been filling roles instead of feeling them. We don’t just need new goals—we need to clear out old ghosts. And that’s where we’re heading next week!

CYC session recap (4/29)
🧠 That voice in your head isn’t random—it’s rehearsed. Programmed. Conditioned. It sounds like you because it grew up with you. But it was built by guilt, trauma, shame, or survival… and too often, it runs the show until you finally decide: I’m done letting the past narrate my present. We didn’t just talk about the voice—we exposed it. ✨Tree shared how she finally overcame the voice—not by silencing it, but by no longer performing for it. They stopped proving their worth to others and started showing up for themselves. That’s the power of shifting from validation to foundation. Choose Yourself To Be Chosen! 🌳 šŸƒ Nassy B reflected on breaking free from dependency-based vices—because when you stop numbing the noise, you finally hear the truth. Your cravings are often just your coping—but once you start choosing structure over escape, you don’t need the vice. You become the voice. I see you 🫔 🫔 Bobby Reminded Us - One thing most people forget on the discipline journey: compassion. They gave themselves grace instead of shame. That’s not weakness—it’s wisdom. Neuroscience even shows that self-compassion strengthens your ability to stay consistent over time. šŸ—£ļøThorey — who works hard on all levels—yet still haunted by the internalized voice of a parent’s projections. It’s real. Even when you’re ā€œdoing the work,ā€ those old voices can creep in. But vulnerability is a flex. And her courage reminded us that being honest about your struggle is progress. Gratitude to her for speaking truth into the space. Healing isn’t linear—but it’s louder in community. Lets get it! šŸ’ŖšŸ¾Shoutout to Connie! - let’s talk about results!! skipping the snooze and building her foundation led to 50 pounds lost. That’s not just a body transformation—that’s identity evolution. When you set the tone, the transformation follows. Health, mindset, spirit—all of it upgrades when the foundation is realšŸ† 🐬🐬🐬 Real talk—this community is rare. We’re not just self-choosers, we’re each-other choosers. In a world built on filters and fronts, we show up authentic, real, and ready to grow. That’s power. That’s love. That’s legacy. The fact that we get to unpack and discuss trauma, rewire our minds, and still laugh while holding each other accountable? That’s not normal—that’s sacred. šŸŒNever underestimate the power of a room where people aren’t competing, they’re completing—healing themselves while helping you heal too. Accountability hits different when it comes with compassion and a calendar.
