Feeling called to share this reflection π± I have a sprained Foot/Ankle and wrist (Foot is the worst of the two) after tripping on concrete stairs at Easter, and I had gotten to a great place in healing with ultrasound physiotherapy and keeping it taped up while waiting for the next physiotherapy session. So much so that I forgot I had an injury because I didn't have much pain. I was wearing other footwear that wasn't my New Balance, including slippers inside the house. In week 2 movement flow, I was careful and thought i didnt do any of the movements that would aggravate both sprains. I was walking on inclines, etc (against the advice of physio who said no hills π which I thought I was avoiding) Last night it was clear that i hadnt been taking 100% care, and the pain came back like the first week. I have now been made to take care of the injuries again. π± The lesson I see here is universal, hence my call to share - We must practice care and compassion for ourselves, even if it's not obvious just how much we need to ποΈ Todays practice is Ho'oponopono prayer π A truly beautiful act of self-love and compassion π€ Grateful for π±Lessons ποΈPeace πCommunity
