Lemon Garlic Toast
10 weeks pregnant with twins over here! Haven’t been able to eat the past couple weeks because of morning sickness. Last night though I had a craving for a recipe I’d found before for Mediterranean Lemon Garlic Toast. You mix some plain Greek yogurt with fresh lemon, garlic, salt and pepper. Put a good helping on your toast and top with a soft boiled egg. It’s typically one of my go to snacks!!!
veggie recommendations!
Hi everyone! Do you guys have any favorite vegetable tips/recipes? (and what you most love to pair them with?) My current go to is roasted brussel sprouts (halved and face down on a sheet pan with oil, garlic salt, and onion powder) with salmon and rice! Do you prefer frozen, fresh, pre chopped, certain seasonings, certain cook times, prep times, prep in advance and reheat, prep the day of, etc; what are your go-to’s or favorites? Feel free to respond with as little as your favorite vegetable (mine is broccoli) or as much as a whole recipe and step by step process! I’m just looking to incorporate more types of veggies and would love to hear your fav ways to make them :) Thanks guys❤️❤️

I love Brussel sprouts with olive like, garlic, salt and pepper baked! Simple and so yummy! I also love carrots in a brown sugar or honey glaze!
Ate without going overboard
Just wanted to share a high for me. This weekend I hosted an old friend from undergrad along with her husband and 1 year old son (the cutest little nugget!) In the past I would take hosting or a special occasion as an excuse to pig out, and I'm so grateful now to be in a place where I am able to still enjoy the food but not to a point of stuffing myself until I'm bloated, sick, or about to explode. Not saying I don't overeat sometimes, but it rarely ever gets to 'that' point anymore. We ate pumpkin pecan croissants, matcha lattes, but also enjoyed a homemade veggie and fiber packed chili. It was a realistic and healthy balance for me because I chose foods that I love, added nutrition where I could, and listened to my hunger cues closely for my perfect portions. Just reminiscing and feeling grateful for the growth and healing (and this community for having a place to share this little sappy moment) ❤️

Being around others makes it so difficult to be aware of what your body requires. That is amazing!!!
Intro
Hi! I’m Ali Rose! I live with my husband and cat. I have struggled for years with body image and anxiety over food. Charissa helped me to develop a healthier relationship with food, but community is a great support. I want to develop a more healthy relationship with food and my body.
