Day 6 no caffeine
I just wanted to share a win today, I gave up caffeine and now that I’m past the headaches I’m actually feeling less tired!! Plus last night no trazodone, just a Benadryl to sleep. Hoping no assist tonight! Guys I had no idea how badly my body needed to be off that stuff!
30 day body image reset
I just came across this challenge in the classroom section. I’m excited to start with the first journal prompt tonight. It seems like a great tool for a healthy mindset, and the plate challenge is inspiring me as well by making it fun and holding me accountable. The past few weeks I have been feeling so much better and more balanced since joining this community! I have been listening to my body and taking better care of myself. It feels amazing! Thank you for starting this and all the work you put into it!
Eating more fruit!
The sweets with intention challenge has really made a big impact on me. Last night, my boyfriend and I were wanting something to eat after an early dinner. We didn’t want anything too heavy and we mutually decided a big fruit bowl sounded so good. I can’t help but be reminded how you all have shifted the late night sweets to more mindful, nutritious choices. I remembered that many of you have said a bowl of fruit has really helped curb a sweet craving. So thank you for posting and participating in the challenge - that has also helped me stay motivated to be mindful too!!
Eating more fruit!
Balanced out a craving
I bought some chicken taco dip that is super yummy and pretty low calorie, but normally I’d just eat it with chips. Today I added:extra chicken, arugula, spinach, micro greens and peppers to make it more balanced! And I sprinkled crushed up chips on top so I still get the chip crunch j was craving!
Easter lunch win
Today I was faced with lots of foods that aren’t maybe the best choices, but navigated them with more balance than I normally would have! For lunch I had ham & a small bun, HALF my plate was salad and asparagus, and a tiny helping of cheesy potatoes. In the past my plate would have been a couple buns (with butter), lots of ham, big helping of cheesy potatoes, and I’d maybe force myself to have a couple carrots or something. So all in all, a great success!! Dinner was a bit less balanced, but not terrible either.
