Leg day
Another Wednesday another leg day. Only problem is my right knee isn't quite right at the moment (keeps going off ever since I did a marathon 2019) Been to the doctors previously and keep getting told ots just wear and tear from running when I was overweight. Just wondering if anyone else has knee issues and if there are any recommendations of strengthening exercises

I know I might not get in but if I don't then I'll go for a charity place! I know it's a bit crazy, but I really think this is my year!

I managed to walk on the treadmill for 10 minutes this morning without my pulse going crackers or being ill. Biggest win I could have had this week.

Feeling the why should I bother
So got up did my weekly weigh in scales stayed the same I think to myself why am I bothering with eating healthy and doing exercise then my dad asks are you going to the gym I said yeh dont know why im bothering tho im not losing any weight he said you can clearly see the improvement in you body so dont be silly. So I dragged my arse to the gym just done hour n hlf head still feeling like its a waste of time but im sure il will pass 🙃

Just remember muscle is more dense than fat so building muscle may mean it looks like not losing weight but you are still losing fat Keep it up your doing fabulous

To start something new, to make a big decision, to get out of your comfort zone, to get back in the gym...this is it. Do the damn thing! Me being shit at pole is a running joke amongst my aerial friends. It's my standard answer whenever I'm asked. I was asked today, deliberately, so I would be reminded to get tf out of my own way. 😅🙈 The picture attached is from the 1st time I competed in pole. ...it was also the 1st time I'd performed pole in front of people....ever. ...It was in front of professional spicy workers. ...It was less than 6 months after I started pole training. ...I was not at my thinnest or strongest. ...Those shoes fucking terrified me. (7 inches) As a result... ...I fell off the pole during my performance. ...Forgot part of my routine. ... Didn't care because I had an absolute blast. ... & walked out as Regional Champion for my category 🏆 Which led to my 2nd ever pole performance and coming in 3rd in the country...in 9 inch shoes. ...and yes it was harder finding dog collars that would fit people than it was to find friends willing to let me parade them around stage in one. 🤣💜 Being ready is a myth, you're already so much further along than you think. There are people half as good/prepared as you out there killing it with little more than sheer audacity. Start now. 🙏🏼 ...she says after putting off starting to edit her book all day. *But I AM shit at pole though. 😬
